I had the loaded fries here and they were really nice, nicely seasoned and crispy and the sauces brought everything together, the fried chicken on top of the fries were very nice and crispy tasted really fresh. I also got a boneless chicken, the chicken is nice yes, very good flavour and crispy, however, the sauce was just too sweat, its like eating chicken dipped in sugar, yes the sauce was that sweet, I also got the hot devil sauce which is meant to be their hottest sauce, and to my surprise it was not hot at all, it was more like a sweet chilli type of hot.My only advise is when you get the boneless chicken DO NOT GET IT WITH THE SAUCE ON TOP, get the sauce on the side because literally drenched the chicken and the sweetness was overpowering to the point where I actually got a headache after I finished eating.

- Food tastes Good but few issues.- We ordered boneless Fried chicken, which was quite good.- Also ordered Fried chicken burger. The burger looked like it was grilled, or defrosted on a pan before cooking. As you could see the chicken was charred with on a hot surface before coating and frying. Thats not fresh at all.- customer service wasn’t extra ordinary. Basic.- Needs to improve on the quality of the food and cleanliness.

Lunch @PelicanaAustralia for some Korean fried chicken. I got the 8 piece flavoured drumettes and wingettes with Pelicana marinade. Pelicana are a South Korean franchise with stores only in Melbourne, this one is at the former notorious prison, Pentridge, turned shopping centre. After a short wait perfectly cooked golden brown crunchy chicken is served smothered in a sticky sweet spicy sauce. I opted for the plastic gloves and dove in to the piping hot chicken. I have been ordering friend chicken from here a couple of times, however this time was a bit disappointed, there are still a bit of unplugged feathers on the wings. However the carbonara tteok- bokki was still very delicious

This place seems to have gone through a change of management, their decor seems a bit different and they finally have bought back paper menus rather than having to use your smart phone to view the menu as before. As it is a franchise, the menu is the same and the fried chicken is still as delicious. The service is fast and the place seems clean. #koreanfriedchicken #kimchifriedrice

Date of visit - 04FEB2022A bit of a hit and miss.The prices appear to be fair but when I received my wrap I was shocked at how small is was. The flavours were great and was very tasty but the serving portion was poor and is inadequate for a fast food style restaurant.The staff appeared to be friendly when you, the customer initiates the conversation.Good location in the heart of the new Pentridge precinct but with that being said there is plenty of options to choose from.South Melbourne's #1 International Reviewer for TA and Google

Barely any meat on some of the bone fried chicken pieces. Spicy Carbonara Ttoek Bokki was good but small portion for price. $3.50 for a can of Fanta is a bit steep!

Great Korean chicken place located in Pentridge. Parking is available in the parking lot. Check signage after 6pm it's free.Food was fantastic, But dine-in is not available which is a shame.Everything is back to normal, tables set and no dine-in options available is vague.Service needs major improvement.

Unfortunately this will be the last time I'm ordering from Pelicana. Loved eating from here but the quality has declined over time and they aren't as generous with their sauces over the chicken anymore. On top of this, my final order was incorrect and not what I ordered, and they will not answer the phone number listed on their website. Such a shame.
