Ace Auto Electrical & Air Conditioning

I am very glad that I found and tried out this very competent mechanic.I priory had a bad experience with another Mechanic in Petersham who charged way too much and told me the break light would not work when I picked it back up. (Which was weird because it worked perfectly before.) I went to Ace Auto and asked them to fix it because I had a bad feeling going back to the first mechanic.We found out that the guy had removed a light cable for which’s repair he wanted $80. It took 5 minutes to find that out and to fix it. I was also helped with other concerns. And I wasn’t charged anything here because my man felt sorry for us to have been scammed by other mechanics.I would go back there instantly and can 100% recommended this mechanic to everybody who wants to be treated with competence and honesty!Thank you again

Extremely transparent and helpful - 90% of my problem was that I had a switch that I never consciously use set the wrong way (operator error) - which was fixed in seconds at no cost, and for the other 10% he clearly explained the issue, the process to fix, and the associated costs, and logically explained why it was not economically worth fixing. An auto-electrician who clearly explains why you should not have them do a job that they could do is an auto-electrician that I would not hesitate to trust. 5 stars.

Twice we had engine/electrical trouble with our car and twice Michael diagnosed and fixed the problem immediately. He explains everything properly and his pricing is both clear and reasonable. Highly recommended.

Michael is a wizard!! After going to 3 mechanics who couldn’t diagnose a problem with our Toyota Hiace van Michael worked out the problem within an day and quoted us an affordable and reasonable rate to fix - replacing some sensors which were faulty. He is such a genuine and honest man who took the time to explain everything to us and why it was so hard to diagnose. Only someone with years of experience, skill and patience could do such a great job. Please come here if you have an auto-electrical issue as Michael at Ace is the best in the business.

Having had two mechanics failed to identify or misdiagnosed my aircon leak, a trip here and 10 minutes of inspection the mystery was solved - Michael explained to me why others misdiagnosed. Reasonable quote and promptly fixed. This is why you should go straight to an aircon specialist rather than a mechanic for problems like this.

Highly recommended! I came here for the first time as my a/c is not working. Michael is very transparent, he showed and explained to me what was wrong with the car. When he found out that the control unit is also broken, he did his best to find a replacement and personally drove through rush hour traffic for couple of hours to get it just to have the work done at agreed time. Very great customer service and very friendly staff.
