The Boat House
Lovely place to have a leisurely lunch with friends overlooking the lake. The staff were friendly, and attentive. We had lunch at the Armada Bar, which was perfect on this sunny and still day. Food was a bit smallish, but very nice. We didn’t have a “timed” table like so many other places, which always puts me off.

Unbelievably nice and well presented food in a magnification location. Most impressed. Fresh, well ventilated and uncrowded, great service, felt very covid safe as well. I came in a small group for lunch and we all had 3 courses. None disappointed!

Boat House is the best fine dining restaurant and wedding venue in Canberra in my opinion! I’ve been to this beautiful place many times and have always been impressed by its excellent customer services, high quality food and wonderful lake view. Staff are so friendly and professional. A perfect place for any type of events or celebrations! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you're looking for a wedding venue that offers stunning views, excellent service, and a truly unforgettable experience, The Boat House is the perfect choice.The staff at The Boat House went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect on our special day. They were friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive, making sure that all of our needs were met and that everything ran smoothly.The food and wine at The Boat House were exceptional! We were also able to choose a delicious welcome cocktail for our guests. The dishes were expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious.Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue than The Boat House. From start to finish, everything was perfect - I highly recommend The Boat House. Thank you to James, Megan and the entire team for making our special day so magical!

I have been holding company functions at The Boat House for over 20 years. They never disappoint. The service is attentive, polite, food amazing and you can't beat that view. Thank you once again for a seamless function.

We had a late lunch to celebrate Father's Day. The restaurant offered 2 or 3-course lunch. It would have been perfect had it not for a fairly large boisterous group in one corner whose laughter and loud banter echoed across the space, and 2 babies at different tables, taking turns in crying. Oh well, it's Father's day... what can you do? The saving grace was an excellent combination of a fancy tasty lunch, enthusiastic, courteous and engaging staff, & a beautiful lake view.

The Boat House hosted our wedding at late notice after our original venue fell through and they put on an amazing show for our special day. The wedding planning and advice they offered in the lead up was very helpful and the food and service on the day was absolutely incredible. To James, Megan, Laura and all the wonderful staff at The Boat House: thank you SO much for everything. Our wedding day was perfect and we couldn't have done it without you.

The Boat House
What a gem. My first experience at the Boathouse was all positive. The venue is delightful with great views of the lake, friendly and efficient staff and extremely tasty food. As an added bonus, the venue caters for a good range of coeliac friendly menu choices. Whilst I attended the venue for a work function, I will gladly return privately, safe in the knowledge that the Boathouse delivers on atmosphere, quality and views.
