QEII Square

One of the best meet up and relaxing places in albury. Beautiful at night too.

Attended the 2018 Winter Solstice event in QE2 Square, fantastic community event for one night to support those affected by suicide. Great guest speakers including Sam Johnson, Ian Roberts & Tim Elliott as well as poet Les Murray and the highly talented Scot's school pipe and drum band and live music from local band The Northern Folk and Solstice Trio. Large fire pits scattered throughout the venue to keep the large crowds warm and a great night of inspiring stories and songs of the above speakers and performers throughout the evening of the darkest night of the year. I can't wait for next years event. Food and drink was also available throughout the event

Calm and peaceful little park. Love to go there when the sun shines. Has easy access Canvas Cafe and the MAMA Gallery. Theatres and live entertainment also nearby.

Lovely place to eat lunch on a fine day. Well served by cafe's and the albury entertainment centre.Not the nicest at night on a weekday, generally meet unsavory characters.

Great open space in the heart of Albury. This was the gathering place prior to the start of the Albury to Wodonga City2City Fun Run.

Retro is kind and the park is fun

Rather quiet when I went, the grounds are very well kept, they have those social distancing circles, and because it was like 6pm some people were eating their dinner out on a picnic blanket which looked like quite a nice idea. Would highly recommend.

Nice place in the centre of town to take a break. Plenty of green grass, is some nice shade to sit under, seating around the place.Great place to have takeaway lunch , either by yourself or with family. Nice spots to relax, while there is enough room for the kids to run and play.

Attended winter Solstice. Well worth going.
