This is an older pool that has been maintained but not upgraded in the past twenty years. It provides good value for money if you prefer to do your fitness swimming in fresh water. They will provide kickboards and pull buoys if you ask the lifeguard.

So far so bad, and I haven't even been there yet.Two phone calls, the first woman knew next to nothing about the questions I asked, the next day, the day the arrogance of the guy as if he were doing me a favour.I'm guessing this I don't care attitude has to do with with being the only swimming pool in the peninsula area that is around Rye.

I love this pool. It has helped me restore health, get back some fitness and is a peaceful environment to do a few laps. I've swum at Rosebud on and off since about 1999, but have been about 2 or 3 times a week almost every week during 2019. I have found the staff friendly, courteous and welcoming. The pool is clean and well run, with outstanding water quality. It is very well managed. Water temperature is good. pH is good. free chlorine is good, total chlorine is good. Air temperature can be a little brisk at times in severe weather, but I prefer it cooler rather than warmer for health reasons. Cool, dry air is healthy air, rather than dank, humid over-heated air in some other locations. The showers have improved and seem to be nice and hot with a little patience. Its my favourite pool. I did a quick mental count, and I estimate I have swum in about 37 pools that I can remember. This one is my favourite. It has a simplicity and a sincerity about it.I am an ex-lifeguard (Advanced Lifeguard Award) , ex-pool manager ( Aquatic Facility Operator's Certificate), and have enjoyed swimming my whole life so far ( 53). ex Duty manager Richmond Recreation Centre, ex-Co-ordinator East Keilor Swimming Pool, ex-Co-ordinator Ascot Vale Leisure Centre. Despite their website saying they’re open, pool is drained and no staff present. Cafe said closest pool is Frankston, which is nowhere nearby

Me and my 4 yo went for a swim in the baby pool only to be asked to leave because a school had book the adults pool.we were there for 40 min .they were not even useing the baby pool

Great teachers and classes. Toilets could do with a little love

The pool temperature is too cold, the room itself isn’t heated and the showers are cold. A miserable experience really. I’d hate to think what it’s like in winter. The place look run down and not very clean.
