Excellent fresh seafood. Their prawns are primo. In Ballina, if you're after good seafood, you must only go here.They usually have excellent Pacific oysters too. And a very nice selection of seafood in general. Can get busy here, really busy.. but that's just a sign of a good fishmonger.Highly recommended.

I drive from Goonellabah to Ballina just to buy my fish at this location, and have done for over 10 years, and also purchase some fish and chip for 2 for me and the misses. But, today I made the treck to Ballina for my usual, however to my dismay, my usual order of fish n chips consisted of 3 tiny pieces of what looked like off cuts of flake, that resembled a kiddies meal and chips. I was charged $16 just for the 2 piece of fish I ordered, what I recieved, in total wouldn't have been 1 piece of fish usually. Has this place changed hands? Certainly not worth the drive anymore.

Good quality seafood. Prices are relatively high, but seafood is fresh. Service is very good. Christmas Eve lines are pretty long but it’s worth the wait

Staff were really helpful and we were served straight away.The place also smelled like fresh seafood and no nasties like some places. Had some of the tastiest prawns we’ve had in a while.

A gem for fish lovers, huge variety of very! fresh seafood. Also Takeaways like they used to be. Crisp, fresh and tasty. Great selection. Best prawns and prawn cutlets too. ( I just heard they are a two or 3 generations owned business ) .

Incredibly busy, however the food is well worth the wait. Staff are friendly and patient. Huge variety of fresh fish, prawns and other items. Well worth a visit.
