SOAK Bar + Beauty

Whilst overall my facial and eyebrow experience at SOAK was mostly positive, I left feeling as though my inexperience with beauty treatments was slightly taken advantage of. For my eyebrows I’d booked a shape and henna, and my stylist really listened to what I wanted with the shape which was great, but after the henna there was no difference and my stylist said the skin would darken and colour over the next 24 hours, so I believed them. Unfortunately it never darkened and so the extra I’d paid for the henna was completely wasted.As I said, overall a relatively positive experience but watch out if you’re a newbie to beauty treatments as you might not get all the extras you paid for if you don’t know what you’re looking for.

Pretty happy with my nails :) Had to ask for hand moisturiser at then end staff had to scrape it from the bottle. Never the less, it smells great! :) Thankyou.

went here for a deluxe pedicure with my mum for her birthday, and wasn't happy with the turnout. firstly my nails or pretty much two different colours as one as more layers and care then the other, they also strung a services price on me when i was about to pay. i was unable to pay as I'm a low income student and had saved up the exact amount i believed i was paying. in the end my mum had to pay for her own gift. overall wont be going there again.

Warm reception, great drink choices. Deluxe mani is great. Wish they had more slots open for walk ins.

I took my mum here based on a recommendation from a colleague at work and I really enjoyed it. The service from both the ladies doing our manicures and the bar staff was impeccable. Also thank you to Brad for making sure we were well looked after.Will be returning. The concept of being pampered while enjoying a glass of wine is truely perfect.Thank you SOAK!

French girl, Cindy, looked after me today for all the treatments: Full pedicure, half leg wax. My first time experiencing the concept of having a drink, alcoholic or not, whilst being pampered. I like the idea. Today just a sparkling mineral water. Next time, I'll try the popular Pomegranate Sour cocktail, which sounds delicious.The strip waxing was done in a private room. Excellent result.The pedicures are handled in the public area along with other clients. It was okay! I thought I'd mind, but I didn't. Today, it was good to see two pre-teen boys having their first time pedicure experience, courtesy of their mother. Get them early, I say!Appointment was handled through the Fresha app, including payment and future dates, including making sure Cindy looks after me again. The only complaint about Fresha I have is the virtually daily reminders of one's appointment; really not necessary.

I love this place so much. The quality of the work they do paired with the quality of the products they use mean your nails look amazing for weeks, until they grow out really. I swear they get better looking over time. You might balk at the price a little, but if you're the kind of person who enjoys little moments of noticing that your nails look great, you'll get so many of those happy moments from this place. I think it's worth it.

Carlie did the best brows ever! Duyen did the best mani for my holiday! Amy did the amazing job for my pedi, I love the colour so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ will defo come back after my holiday! Looking forward for my next appt xx
