Darlo Dogs

I had a one day work trip to Melbourne and it was the perfect excuse for my Cavoodle to have her first trial at Doggy Day Care, with Groom - and I added the Drop off service too since I might be late.All worked out really well. She had a great day playing with other pups and was a very tired lady on the couch that night. Looks great and smelled lovely from her groom - good for bedtime cuddles.Was lovely to come home in the winter evening and find my apartment all alive with the lights on and puppy watching tv. What a great life she has!!!

Dee and her team at Darlo Dogs are wonderful. Having just moved to an apartment, I was worried about Mackenzie settling into a new environment. I walked past Darlo Dogs and thought I would give it a try for doggy daycare, as it is 2 blocks from my work. We love walking to work together, it has only been 2 weeks but she walks straight in -tail wagging. Happiest dpggie in world. First time visit kept all the spaniel haircut parts I like and made Mandalay water dynamic. Best team kept me updated the whole way.

Darlodogs provide excellent and knowledgeable care for my cavoodle Bonnie, who has been going to daycare and grooming there since she was a puppy. They’ve helped train her and help me with all sorts of questions, including different grooming style options. Bonnie literally bounces on her way there in the morning and is well socialised at the end of the day. The staff are all very caring and treat the dogs as if they were their own. Otis has been going to Darlo dogs for his whole life with us (8mths so far).He loves going and I know this is one of the big highlights of his week..:)Dee and the girls do a fabulous job of looking after our fur baby when he’s in their care!

Sian did an amazing job hand stripping my cocker Ted.I was a bit nervous bringing him to a groomer as I have been stripping him myself and was worried about the clippers.She did an awesome job! His hair is now finally a bit thinner and easier to manage. He is also very soft and nicely scissored.Will definitely recommend to anyone that needs their dog stripped!

Darlo dogs is the best! I was so nervous about taking our Moodle for her first cut but I needn’t have worried - they kept our girl looking super cute with a long short do and she just loved being there playing with the other pups while waiting for her appt! Very easy to park with 15 min parking spots along the main road too

Not happy with the care provided to my little one . This is a far too busy place and little attention is given to your family pet. The environment is unwelcoming as you enter with unkept premises smelling urine as you walk in. Groomers are rough with pets and when advocating for my little one was thanked by owners that I can take my business elsewhere what I will happily do. I have been very upset with the way they groomed my little one and they surely did not have time with feedback that highlighted that. I’m very upset that I left my little one under their care for far too long. After each grooming I hoped that the next appointment would be better but nothing. The owner has a successful business because of the increase of dogs in the area but I would like to highlight this is a poor practice and I am so deeply saddened by their service and their communication style that belongs to the street. I am shocked and shaken by their behaviour once I communicated my concerns about the grooming offered the owner took it personally and even pulled my dog like an object this is not excusable and I am deeply ashamed that I have been given this behaviour and treatment. My dog was abused and I was so shocked that i had no word to speak. After all my little one never looked at her best after each session and in return I never been treated so badly and disrespected so I have no reason to give them a glowing review for their poor performance and unacceptable behaviour and attitude I wish that potential new customers read my review to make an informed decision and to take their love ones elsewhere where attention to detail will bring comfort and joy to their family members. And I would like to wish you to find a groomer that will suit your dog personality and make a positive impact for their wellbeing and wellness. My Little Ruby has been going to Dee and the team at Darlo since she was 16 weeks old and continues to go to this day. She gets so excited as she comes up to what we affectionately call ‘school’. It is such a great little community and both Ruby and I have made great fur and hooman friends. The team have always been on hand for advise for training , behaviour and just any dog related questions ( me every week!). It really is such a happy place and can’t fault them.
