Rachel (one of the pharmacists here) is the best. I have an annoyingly difficult allergy script I have to get filled quarterly, it is ordered in from overseas and has to be kept cold. 3 other pharmacists in the area said they wouldnt do it. She sorted it out, and now my specialist just emails it to the pharmacy addressed to her. She is a life saver, cant thank this place enough.

Place used to be great when it was Amcal, since it was taken over, they never have my medications in stock, furthermore; it seems they have less stock on the shelves and I’m told most of the time to try one of their other stores.

My favourite pharmacy that I'll go out of my way to visit. They may be smaller than most, and don't have a huge on-floor range, but the friendly and helpful staff more than make up for this. They'll happily order in anything they don't have, often at little to no profit for them. Pharmacists are all very knowledgeable, helpful and professional, happy to answer any questions you may have. The same can be said for all the service staff here as well. Every visit involves a pleasant conversation of some description, never simply script in

I went in to purchase some perfume, this was the 2nd Amcal Pharmacy I had tried as I had a Medibank Private $20 members health voucher to use. Both the Southland and Carrum Downs store had a dreadful range" of fragrances. They really need to supply a better range of everything as I looked around to spend the voucher on other things I needed but they did not stock them either.I gave a 4 star rating as its not the store or the staffs fault. For range of stock I would be kind if I gave a 1 star.Staff were helpful and lovely

Usually good this afternoon went in to buy sleeping tablets I was grilled, I said I take two tablets off once a week if that straight away No that's 2 much the packet says one. She kept saying that even when i said the packet says up to 2 tablets. I said I read the packet it says 1 to 2 tablets. She spoke to the pharmacist also I felt like I was being acused of misuse. The lady very dismissive I explained the 2 tablets I take I'm still up and down at night she didn't care maybe because I proved her wrong about the dose.wasnt happy with the response. :(

Love the staff they are very caring considered and helpful always have time to ask how you are doing the pharmacist always take time to answer your questions about you medication even when they're busy thank you to all the staff for your help and caring it's not a big chemist but it's the best chemist I wouldn't go anywhere else

I was in Amcal last week and was not at all happy with the service. The lady who 'helped' me was not at all helpful! I was served by an older indian lady and she was quite rude, and had no interest in helping me. I ended up leaving.
