Ordered a chef's favourite with no Jalapeno, a small pizza cost about $16. recommended by others.Brought the pizza home, top looks fantastic, had a few bites, this charred taste and bitterness just ruined the beautiful, delicious, fresh toppings. Flipped it around there was burnt bread at the bottom, every slice of them. I'll let the photo do the talking.not good enough to me for a $16 small pizza.Follow up on the owner's comment:1. I'm not saying the pricing is an issue. I'm saying the quality is an issue. I'm saying the QUALITY of the product does not justify the price.2. I don't know and I don't care how you cooked the pizza, but I come to your restaurant asking for a pizza, you gave me this pizza with burnt bottom and BITTER taste so overpowering on the wonderful toppings, and you are telling me it has to be that way? Are you telling me all your pizza will have this BURNT, BITTER taste? if you admit that then I will not have anymore follow up questions.3. I didn't compare your pizza to other pizzas, all I'm saying is your pizza taste burnt and bitter. I'm not trashing your food, you guys give nice toppings no doubt, but what good is it if it taste charred and bitter every slice and every bite?4. You should learn to listen to customers instead of just getting emotional and firing back. Wow, bad customer service and can't take criticism.

Pizza was alright, chicken tasted a little stale, but more importantly, found 2 strands of hair in the pizza. Dough was too soft.

Pizzas are great here if you're for a good wood fired pizza. Can be a wait at times so add an extra 10 mins or so on top of the pick up time.

With a wood fired oven, you are halfway there for an amazing pizza……..the other half is all in the base and ingredients.These guys certainly have it!Beautiful fresh ingredients and a sensational base made for an amazing pizza with a wood fired flare!Loved every bite and…………..happy to say the very best in Cairns hands down! Thank you

Through their website I pre-ordered 2 pizzas which said it would be ready for pick up at 4.45 after they open at 4.30. I happened to get there early and notice the chef didn't even arrive until 4.40 to open up shop. I then got a text to say my order had been cancelled and refunded, so I went in and questioned it. He said it happened with pre orders a lot but I could order again, only he wouldn't start cooking til 5?Why put an opening time of 4.30, with the ability to pre order online if neither are true? Unhappy because we love the pizzas here - shame we've now gone elsewhere.

This place is just amazing!Ordered the Hawaiian and meat lovers and they were cooked beautifully and tasted fabulous!Debated on giving this review a 4 or 5 star as the pizza was luke warm when we got it but hey, I was able to eat it straight away.Annnnd then there was dessert!We got the nutella, banana & marshmallow Calzone. Oh My Goodness! If you have a sweet tooth like myself, this is heaven <3Some desserts you get will have a scrape of Nutella in them but not this one! It was packed with deliciousness that will have me dreaming about it later.

The Red Pepper Wood Fired Pizzeria
Delicious wood fired pizzas. Lots of different toppings available including BBQ meatlovers, Hawaiian and satay chicken. They also have deals which are good value. We ordered online using menu log and selected the time for pick up which was convenient. Sauce on the BBQ meatlovers was a bit too sweet - and there was a lot of it. Would prefer a smokier, more savoury flavour or just less of this sauce on the pizza. Otherwise, delicious wood fired flavour and will definitely order from here again.
