We are in the process of building with Thomas Archer and had a great experience so far. We engaged them in 2021 with a brief to design a custom home to meet our unique block requirements. They came up with a great design that met our brief and also met our budget whilst also providing various options to upgrade and downgrade the design and the subsequent cost.The selection process was a breeze and their interior design consultant spent a lot of time with us providing great insight into a very daunting colour selection. They were also very accommodating with some custom home automation work that I wanted to getimplemented.The staff have been very responsive and setout realistic expectations from the start.We recently signed our contract and within 2 weeks they were on site quickly making progress.Can't wait to see the final product!

We are in the middle of building a family home with Thomas Archer, the team have been amazing and have provided excellent advice and guidance us along the way from our initial consultations, styling session and pre-construction communication with our project manager Belinda!We are currently at frame stage and are looking forward to seeing everything come to life! The TA team are professional, organised and always there to answer any questions.

We moved into the house around October 2021. We discovered some small defect, and reported to TA. Several persons came and inspected. Some vendors also came and fixed few items.Only after Robert in charge for this warranty in early February, the process moved smoothly.Now all have been fixed and I am happy with the results.I would like to express my thanks and appreciation to Thomas Archer for the commitment, and to Robert personally for doing great job, personal attention and quick responses to make everything resolved in time.Linda & Unggul

We took possession of our new home 6 months ago and cannot speak more highly of our experience. Our building supervisor was professional and patient and treated the build like his own.Interior styling was a brilliant experience will every detail considered. The guidance was invaluable to someone who is new to the experience but appreciated good quality.I would highly recommend TA. Brilliant team and passion for quality.

We had the pleasure of building our dream home with Thomas Archer. We went to tender to build our semi-custom home just before covid and construction happened during lockdown and I must say it was an amazing experience. From the start of the process to the completion of the project, Thomas Archer proved to be a reliable and efficient builder.One of the most remarkable things about my experience was that my home was finished two months before the contract date. This was particularly impressive, given that it was completed just before Christmas, and the pressure was on to meet the deadline.I must also commend the site supervisor, Gary, for being simply the best. He was friendly, approachable, and always willing to help us with any questions or concerns we had throughout the building process. Gary's expertise and attention to detail were evident, and we were confident that we were in safe hands throughout the entire project.It's been over a year since we moved into our home, and we are still in love with it. It's evident that the Thomas Archer team built our home with passion and dedication to delivering a high-quality product. We are grateful for the exceptional service, and we would recommend them to anyone considering building a new home.I will have to note, it did take one year for the maintenance guy to come back to fix the 3-month warranty defects. Built our home with Thomas archer 3 years ago. I have worked in construction for 24 years now.Throughout the duration of our build I was never invited on a walk through as promised. Our build also went over the allocated time of our contract. Costing us a lot of money in rent. Our house was rendered the wrong colour.Our contract was totally wrong and we ended up without alot of features that we had wanted and paid for. Our dishwasher has been incorrectly installed and at least had 10 attempts at someone fixing it. (It still is not installed correctly)It is a constant battle to try and get things fixed. Recently our bedroom door Handle failed and our 4 year child was locked in the bedroom. I tried everything to open the door and ended up having to damage the door to break in. I was told by Thomas archer, i could have used a credit card to open the door?We spoke with Thomas archer and they refuse to fix the door.Our home has also flooded 3 times. Twice because of the upstairs bath and once due to a incorrectly installed flashings. (Thomas archer refused to fix flooding from flashing issue again) Our Hebel panelling has hair line cracks in it, and you can actually see the outline of each panel in some areas. Again they told us this was normal and refuse to fix it.If your looking for a close relationship with a builder and a good experience throughout building your dream home. I would definitely look elsewhere, and most definitely not recommend Thomas archer.I hear carter grange are much more professional and helpful.However they look fantastic on there instagram page!

We recently moved into our custom Thomas Archer home and are extremely happy the end result.From our very first enquiry we fell in love with the team and their portfolio of previous builds.We spent a lot of time exploring many other building companies as budget was very important to us. Thomas Archer worked with us within our budget to create an outstanding design and created a stylish home of exceptional value for money.Our site manager’s communication and diligence was second to none. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he took time to understand our expectations and needs. When any challenges or build issues arose the entire team from Thomas Archer were responsive and always worked to ensure we were happy. Our satisfaction was a priority and they took so much pride in delivering the perfect home for us (including our dogs).We highly recommend Thomas Archer to build your home!

We have just moved into our new TA house and absolutely love it!The build finishes and design feel luxurious and high quality and better than we had envisaged at the start of the project. From the start, we were surprised how easy the process was from design, through interior selection, contracting, to site start. The construction was on time and no variations of any significance. Unexpected issues inevitably come up during a house build but Thomas Archer was very professional in raising quickly, outlining options / advice and then continuing on. Special thanks to Mark L. and Kirsty for being very responsive and professional throughout the whole process.We would absolutely use Thomas Archer again and look forward to staying in touch with the team.

Over 18 months after the handover of our new build, I am still chasing Thomas Archer for the 3-month maintenance to be completed. At handover, there was a myriad of seemingly simple to-fix issues, that now 18 months down the track I am still waiting on, with little to no communication provided to me.Their website distinctly states “when building a home, communication is vital” however, it is evident that once the bills have been paid, this company has no further care or pride in the service that they claim to provide. I selected this company paying a premium builder price to expect premium treatment through every step of the process, I am extremely disappointed and frustrated to say that this has not been the case. At this point, I am not asking for much, I just want the problems identified at handover, well over a year ago, to be rectified as promised.TA promised us a premium experience. Instead, we got substandard service and poor contractors – if they show up at all! The service provided for maintenance has been nothing short of terrible and totally ruined this experience for me. I'm sick of waiting to hear from TA, sick of being left in the dark by their no-show contractors and over the quality of workmanship provided by the maintenance contractors that have actually shown up.The so-called premium experience with this builder stops once the money does!
