Trust my bum 2017 l got him to fix my auto in my z32 300zx no rebiuld just fix $3500 2days later l rang keysborough diff and transmission l asked a quote 4 a full rebuild $1800 that means l got ripped off $1700 do not trust this business man

When the Trans went on my beloved Lexus, Doug gave me a quote to fix it which I accepted. A few days later he called to say he had found a second hand one with low km and on his recommendation I had him put it in. The car has never been better and it was half the price of the original quote. Now who would do that in this day and age. Go to Doug for great old fashioned honesty and service.

Doug is fantastic at his work and I highly recommend his services. I have a VE commodore and had a chugging" issue durijg drive which my mechanic suspected was my transmission. The problem was not diagnosed by another automatic transmission place around the corner that I had been to earlier who suggested I go back to the motor mechanic. After advice from the mechanic I sought Doug at Performance Automatics for a second opinion on the transmission. Doug identified an issue with the converter almost as soon as going for a drive in it. The converter was replaced by him and the car is driving a million bucks again!"

So incredibly disappointed they misdiagnosed the problem with my vehicle which cost me a couple of grand in repairs to something that didn’t need fixing and that had no affect whatsoever on the actual problem. Won’t be getting my business again.
