H&R Block Tax Accountants - North Lakes

Dorothy is a wonderful lady, always does her best to get the best result for me and my son. We have been getting our tax done through her for years now at North Lakes and we always look forward to seeing her at tax time. She is a credit to H&R Block. I find using their services efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and we really wouldn't go anywhere else at tax time.

Had a very bad experience from Dorothy. Would not recommend this HR block at all.

Very much disappointed with H&R block Northlakes, Lodged my tax return 7 weeks ago but haven’t heard until now, Dorothy made me pay upfront payments for the service but my tax haven’t been lodge, called H&R block to follow up but all I get was ( let me call you back) but never called back, Im’ so prostrated with Dorothy, she was not a professional for her word or job.. still waiting for response with my tax, I do no recommend these people to do your business transaction with, very poor service.. if I could give 0 star I would.. they do not deserve 1 star.

Absolutely fabulous service, staff and returns!I do regret I had not used them before...

Friendly staff, however possibly the slowest interaction I have had with H&R Block, I have been using them for years and built a lot of trust unfortunately this trust is now broken. I was told the ATO wouldn't accept tax returns until the middle of the month which was not true according to the head office and the regional manager. I have chased for almost 10 days and my tax return has not even been lodged yet. constantly told the systems where down and there is a backlog to which the head office also confirmed was false. I work as a customer experience manager and I must say this was some of the poorest CX I have had in some time. I hope they improve and learn from this feedback. If asked if I would recommend H&R I would probably hesitate and I have shared my experience about North Lakes with others.

Terrible service in every way. I had to wait for a long time and then the person proceeds to just type (very slowly) just details I could do faster and myself online. When I wanted to ask questions about my personal circumstance and tax (which is the whole reason you consult an accountant) it seemed over their head and they just kept wanting to go back to typing in numbers. And they had to have another person come in who just spoke over the top of me and wouldn’t listen. Obviously very inexperienced people who just do what you can do yourself online. I would have given 0 stars but it won’t let you.

Lovely and very kind lady's but really took my patiants for a ride.Took about 2 months phone call after phone call to get my return and told me I didn't ow anything to the tax office and that I'd be receiving money. 1st return summary was very low. 2nd was an improvement but still low. 2 months later and I get my return telling me I ow $1500. I'm a tradesman and I feel as if I've had the lowest return of anyone I work with. Not happy as I pay $153 to these accountants to tell me these things. What I'm entitled to and what i deserve. I work extremely hard and try to give every person I meet the best side of me with respect and to feel a stupid after all this makes me feel a little robbed. I dont think that's asking for to much I think thats simply asking for what I'm paying you for. Have done my tax with H and R for years now. I'm affraid that will be the last. This place does have potential tbough and I'm sure this will all be fixed up at some point.

My tax return was lodged 17 days late due to a systematic error and I got no apology just excuses. Don’t go here, they really know how to waste time.

Poor service this year by H&R block north lakes. Went to these guys last year and they were fantastic. Prompt, quick and easy. This year, such a terrible experience. Similar series of events as another review, told me that there’s a backlog at another department, there’s not. Just hasn’t been lodged and no communication or good reason as to why after 3 weeks. I will not be going here next year, nor would I recommend to anyone.

Terrible service couldn't understand or receive direct answers to questions. Had another consultant talking over the top of our consultant which made it even more difficult to communicate. And after nearly a 2 hour consult received a next to nothing return for both my wife and myself. Very disappointing
