Hold Up 2 and LightmateDevastated that I shelled out over $1000 for this gear.The holdup2 had been in use for only 3 months before the arms on the hold up started to get so stiff they sound like they are going to break. Sent video to their customer service who said it 'appears the arms are stiffer than they should be'. Has taken over a month for their warranty department to view the video and decide that the video is hard to tell but it looks like it's in an acceptable range.The light mate is a flimsy piece of rubbish, that you have to attach to your expensive bike because it doesn't really fit the rack if you have two bikes on it.Massively disappointed in the products as they came so highly recommended

This is the first time I have had a negative experience with a Yakima product. I have had bike rack/roof rack products before and always been happy with them but this time I feel let down.I purchased a set of the Yakima 30 inch aero pads to wrap around my roof bars to load my kayak onto. It is quite a wide kayak but I determined that at 30 inches the pads would be just wide enough for the edges of the kayak to sit on.Unfortunately the padding does not extend all the way to the ends of the product, it is short by a couple of inches at each end meaning the padded section is only around 26 inches long, and not long enough for my needs.Had I realised this was going to be the case I would have ordered 2 pairs of the shorter pads and put 2 on each bar where the edges of the kayak sit.I feel the advertising for this product is misleading and I have been left with a pair of pads which are useless to me.
