Australia Post - Preston Post Shop

Di was really helpful when I walked in at 4:55pm to do my passport application. She stayed back for me, so lovely & understanding. The cleaner there is also awesome. Good vibes in that place.

Amazing! New friendly staff who know what they’re doing and such a better environment!Used to be dull… and the workers were boring and rude.But one of my favourite post offices now :)

Come on Australia Post, give us some decent hours on this one. Doesn't open till 9am, not open past 5pm, not open Saturdays.Kinda means for those that have to work in the city its a nightmare to get our parcel.The lazy driver should have delivered it to our house (We were home all day after all) they didn't even attempt to deliver since we have cameras.At the very least, they should have taken it to my local Post Shop on Gilbert road which at least I can visit Saturday but here we are. I have to take some time off work now to get my parcel.

Would love to know how I'm meant to collect parcels sent here now that this location appears to be closed weekends... with no way for me to select another location as my preference? Why is this the default location to send parcel locker items to?Changing my review to one star. Staff here will give parcels out to anyone with a name like yours (apparently ID with an address not needed!) I'm not the only one as the last time I was here someone in front of me had the same problem.

The staff are very friendly and even went out their way to help me submit some forms, that I was not to familiar with.

Went in 28/05/2018 at 2:45pm. The store was empty except 1 customer being served by Rob. As Rob (a tall middle-aged man, with grey vest and a golden earring) finished serving he told me to turn around and line up in a different location. Makes absolutely no sense. And as he told me this someone else came in and took my spot. There are no lane ribbons or anything and was completely unnecessary. Ended up not sending parcels I came in for and went to the Bell street store instead.This is consistently bad service in this particular post store, I am unsure why this keeps happening. I constantly feel like a fool everytime I get served by the older Indian lady, the lines usually are enormous, there are no smiles or kindness. Every time I come with a parcel pickup form, is always met with anger and like it is a burden for them. They go in the back, and take ages to come back, it is as though they go in the back, and start boiling a cup of tea, and finally come in.Get rid of all the staff and start from fresh is my recommendation. Until that happens, I will never go back to this post office.

Not opening on a Saturday morning is ridiculous. Why not send the items to another post office (such as Preston LPO) that is open on a weekend for 1/2 a day?

Completely undeserving of the current rating. I've had the best, prompt, and friendliest service from the staff at Aus Post Preston in years since moving into the area a few months ago. Pauline in particular took time out of her morning to help me with some parcel collection issues.
