A oasis in a part of Clifton Hill pretty devoid of convenience. Got all the stuff, including a hidden cache of chocolate bullets behind the counter. Extra points for that. Very competitive prices too!

For a small supermarket these guys have a great range: basics, fruit and veg and some really nice cheeses etc. Bread selection pretty basic though.

The best small supermarket in Melbourne, God bless Mr . Giuseppe Aiello & keep him in Paradise for the hard work since 1968 . Now rest in peace. God bless his remaining family kipping working hard to supplying good genuine food ...we all miss you Mr. Gio Aiello !

FoS is my go-to local shop. The range might not be as great as a supermarket but they have all the basics and always have great fresh produce that's reasonably priced. There's also some fun interesting luxury items like m*lk chocolate.The shop has a real community vibe. Give them a call and ask to enquire if you need something in particular.

Great local supermarket. High quality vegetables, nice range of uncommon herbs and greens.Have no idea of their opening hours outside of weekdays though... It's a mystery.

Clifton Hill's unofficial tiny supermarket, they have a good selection of fruit and veg too. Try their home made olive oil, delicious!

Shopping here feels kind of like being in a small town general store where produce is grown out the back and the owner stops to chat about tomatoes. And they're worth talking about. Sweetest tomatoes around. Don't even need salt.

Behind this unpretentious exterior lies a hidden gem. It is my go to grocery store when in Clifton Hill. No home brands here, just really good quality Aussie and European products. Excellent range of fresh fruit and veggies, some from the owners home farm on the outskirts of Melbourne.

LONG-STANDING GROCERY STORE IN THE CLIFTON HILL VILLAGEThis is a small independent supermarket that has a good range of fresh foods and meats. It has a great selection of bakery products and good range of Italian / Greek products (cheeses / olives etc).Fast service as its quite a small shop. Easy to park on Spensley St while you shop.

Looks are deceptive as from external appearances you'd expect the range would be small and limited to a few conveniences.Yet wander in and you'll find there is a surprisingly extensive range on offer. The fruit, veg and meat is all of a very good quality and prices aren't too far off what you'd pay at one of the bigger chains.This place really is a hidden gem.
