Margaret River Motel

On first impressions, the room was extremely dated. Tried to move the saggy and very uncomfortable lounge so the four of us had a bit more room to sit at the table, stopped as soon as we saw lots of nail clippings, pencils, dirt....didn't want to see more! Curtains in main bedroom didn't close. Cane chair broken in lounge. The yard at the back hadn't had any gardening or mowing done for a year or two, nowhere to sit outside, no seating, things dumped there, a very forgotten area. Many other areas of the motel had well kept gardens. Main living area very dark, not much natural light at all. Spent as little time as possible there during our three day stay, it was so unpleasant and uninviting. The linen and bathroom was cleanfy and bed fairly com though. Good to hear the motel is being done up, as our room was very overdue. Overall, I wouldn't stay again, or request a room that had been updated definitely. Booking process was easy, and prompt communication from management. My apologies for the negative review, not something I have never had to do before.

Believe me I travel a lot but a place and service like this is excellent I love to stay this place in future really a excellent place to stay 7 stars

I booked one night for a work trip. I was expecting something fairly basic for the price but I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room, and quality inclusions. The room was spotless, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I was impressed with the large comfortable bed, roomy bathroom and corner spa, and a separate living area where I could work comfortably. Check in was easy and contactless, communication from management was helpful, and I was pleased to be allowed a late checkout upon request. A super easy walk into the centre of Margs simplified my stay even further.(The only minor issue was the poor wifi range in the room, but I was able to hotspot my mobile instead so it was manageable. )It can be hard to find a budget friendly, one night stay in Margaret River, so it's good to know this is an excellent option for future visits.

large room could have easily fitted a single bed as well. laundry good and free. nice garden. never saw any staff or room service. stayed 2 nights.

My go to place to stay in Margret River! I have never had a bad experience. Great family owned motel. The staff are warm and inviting. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed.Upgrades are always being done and the place is well maintained.Location is perfect. Looking forward to future stays :)

I have recently had the pleasure of working with the team at the Margaret River Motel on some advertising and marketing material. Whilst I was on site, I could see the passion from all the staff, from the owners and management to the grounds person and housekeeping staff. Through my photography and videography work, I got to see the inside of most of the rooms and the entire grounds area. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, and the grounds were well looked after. The pool was clean and clear and would be great in the warmer months. If you are looking for affordable accommodation within walking distance to Margaret River main street, I can definitely recommend Margaret River Motel.

Comfortable and large rooms with all conveniences (toaster, kettle, mini fridge, cutlery & crockery) - dated style but functional. Amazing location, free on-site parking. Great on-site facilities including a laundry, pool and tennis court.

I went there for 3 nights and as soon as l got there my phone went missing and not to be found anywhere it wasn't a great phone as it was a Samsung Galaxy 13 but all of my stuff were on it now l am back from the 3 night trip and still haven't found the phone for people wondering l was in room #8 if anybody does find it please let me know Thanks

Over visiting from the UK. This place was highly recommended by our daughter who has stayed numerous times. We where not disappointed, our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Large comfly bed with luxurious bedding, leather sofa to relax on and a tv. Owner was very friendly. Easy 10 min walk to the bars and shops. Will be staying again on our next visit. If you stay here you will not be disappointed

I can't fault this amazing hidden gem. From ease of check in to the size of the rooms, staff were amazing and the room was sparkling. Location is perfect for a night out in Margs. Special note on the shower, perfection.
