I spent 3 weeks in Batemans Bay for work. Unfortunately, it was terrible weather the entire time. So my dreams for spending afternoons basking in the sun and morning dips in the ocean were shattered.HOWEVER, spending my mornings at ‘Area 61’ well and truly made up for it. The class structure is good, runs on time and the workouts are always explained with scaling options explained also (unlike some gyms where those who wish to scale have to ask for options). This results in a great ego-less atmosphere in the gym.It is a very comfortable and welcoming environment. The coaches are great and the community is warm and just an all round great bunch of people. A pleasure to train at this gym. I can’t wait to come back, the only change I would ask for is nicer weather!

This place is great. Whether you are on the mats or on the weights, the trainers are really friendly and know their stuff. It's a great place to workout. From beginners to advanced, adults to kids, these guys have got the goods.
