Worst service I’ve ever received and down right dodgy. I bought a 4wd from them and it came with a winch that worked when I bought the car but shortly after failed and no longer worked (less then 3 months and 5,000klm) it was covered under consumer law.When I spoke to them in regards to replacing the Warn XD9000 winch they began to tell me it wasn’t covered and that they don’t cover accessories, etc.I spoke to consumer affairs about it and they told me that because it was advertised when I bought the vehicle it was in fact covered.Cricks then agreed to replace the winch and told me they have ordered a WARN 12,000lb winch because Warn didn’t make the 9000lb anymore.When I arrived to have it replaced I asked if I could see the new winch, they showed me the new Warn 12000lb winch brand new in the box but when I arrived later in the day to pick the car up I was stunned to see that they didn’t put the Warn winch on but in fact tried to pull the wool over my eyes and put a $300 4wd supercentre winch on instead. The winch I had on the car was worth over $2,000.00 they installed the new winch illegally as well.Totally unprofessional about they hole situation they said that they don’t care and that I need to take it up with fair trading. I spoke to fair trading and they since said that I am at a financial disadvantage now and so Cricks either haveTo replace with the same winch or pay me the difference in value.I wouldn’t recommend doing business with this company as I’m not the only person they have done this too. I’ve had several friends do business with Cricks and have had nothing but bad service and dramas throughout the process.
