What a wonderful and interesting bookshop with wonderful people doing all that they can to help aspiring new Australian writers across various genre. Our family has visited the store and have purchased several books in person and online. The staff and service have always been exemplary and all assistance is provided with a smile. Can thoroughly recommend.

Brad and Jodie are running a very professional outfit. I have been into the store a number of times and found them to be very welcoming and keen to help. The Independent Bookstore at Ballarat is one of the few bookstores that truly support Indie writers. It's a community hub where people who love stories, both authors and readers, can meet and shout about their favourite books! It's the way bookstores used to be when I was a kid. The smell of books, the laughter and the kindness of people who love books, all remind me of visiting my local bookstore with my mum when I was a kid in the 60's.
