Great service Great Staff & Excellent Turn around time & best of all GREAT PRICES ! The technicians ordered in a new screen for my OPPO phone, replaced & had in back up ready to use incredibly quickly. I HIGHLY recommended Active for all yr electronic repairs parts & service. Great electronics store especially since Tandy and Dick Smith are no longer. Not as flashy as Jaycar but I always find what I need. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the North Hobart location is perfect for me. Off street parking available too.

This store is a good place if you’re looking for most things Audio & Visual. They even seemed to know their stuff.Unfortunately I ordered a component of them about six weeks ago in which they said they would call when it came in, I had to call them three times each time they said they had to reorder it due to a mistake by the supplier.Consequently I have bought it off the internet (was delivered in two days) and I’m still waiting for my call. As you can imagine I won’t be purchasing the item if it ever turns up.

We were searching for what we thought would be a long shot product for any Hobart supplier. But not only did active electronics have the product, the salesman went beyond and kept shop open until we arrived, then was happy to provide advice ect, didn't seem rushed to make sale and get you out the door. If we need anything of the electronics variety in the future i will be going here first.

Fantastic staff, great range of components, awesome prices, and local to where I live. It's the best electronics store for electronic components in Hobart. Just ask them at the counter and they will get it for you and charge a button for just 35 cents!

Situated on Elizabeth Street in North Hobart up a pokey driveway it is usually a drama to get a park and a bigger drama to get out.But! Once you get inside it is full of specialist AV and data equipment. The clientele of the store are normally industry professionals.The prices are reasonable and the staff know their product very well.They are happy to give advice and provide you with a solution to your needs.
