Cheeky Velosport

I have been using the store for a while now. The customer service is fantastic. The shop owner has been stepped into a dispute I had with Garmin to ensure I had my faulty product rectified. A fantastic shop with some of the most beautiful bikes on the earth.

Freindly staff and great store, however I paid for their top service ($300) , had to return once because they completely missed cleaning my front derailleur and didn't fix the squeeky disc brakes (also set the rear cable up so it got stuck and frayed in my wheel). They fixed the front disc (not rear) and sort of cleaned derailleur but not completely, this also took over a week to sort as the mechanic snapped the derailleur hanger, which I only found out when i went in to query why it was taking so long. have been for a couple rides and just cleaned bike, notice they didn't remove any of the wax from any of my drivetrain, forgot to put in the disc pad pin and the cables are not indexed properly after two rides .. guess they didn't pre stretch cables. Definitely wont be back after this quality for their top service.

Great shop. Went in to seek a quick fix for an issue with my bike. Although it was only a small adjustment - he refused to accept payment. Ended up having a great chat with Darren and he knew his bikes. Thanks and highly recommended.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. Liam has promised me new wheels since November 2021 and has truly let me down. I paid almost 14k for a new setup and the customer service has been horrendous, no communication, no genuine care. Selfish people that work there can’t even pass on a message. I suggest going elsewhere if you want a bike. 0/10

Never found it so hard to get anyone to take my money. Had a couple of interactions with the staff on the phone and in the shop. All arrogant, unhelpful and seemingly unwilling to actually sell me something. I yried to buy a $8k Bianchi from them. They were so unhelpful I went to their competitors. Today I happened to be on the are and was looking for a cycling kit. Looked around the shop for 10min without being acknowledged or offered help. Guess what. I walked out without spending a cent. They get one star for actually being open.

I took a Campagnolo front wheel in on June 3 2021 to get some broken spokes repaired caused by debris getting stuck in the wheel. They replaced the spokes costing me $135. On July 7 2021 a spoke snapped at the hub whilst riding in Vaucluse so I took it back to the store assuming they'd replace that 1 spoke for free given the wheel had just been serviced. I was told they 'don't provide warranty' on spokes and that they don't know 'how I have been riding' and proceeded to ask how heavy I am with no ownership of the repair they had provided. They told me to buy a new wheel as it is too old/worn which would have been nice to know before I took the wheel in in the first place and paid $135.

Great bikes in stock, though went to get my bike repaired and had poor communication and has to hassle then just to get a quote, very slow turn around on acknowledging payment, I was quoted and charged for a 105 crankset and they fitted a Sora equivalent.On the upside, they replaced control cables that were getting tatty and brake pads that were getting a bit worn

Darren is a great mechanic. I called to check if he could see me quickly on Easter long weekend. he was open and found time to fix my bike, ready for racing. His advice and recommendation are very useful . I am glad I gave a chance again to Cheeky velosport. The mechanic and his professionalism are important key for a good key business. I felt welcome and listened. Thank you Darren and Liam to re'open the shop

A great bike shop and nice people. They helped me a lot to build the custom bike and saved my budget. Liam and his team are friendly and professional. Great after sales customer service as well. I would recommend Cheeky to friends who want to purchase bikes.
