I have been a student at Marymede for over 8 years. It's one of the best schools in Victoria the education system is outstanding. I have loved the time from over the years, sometimes the Excursions can get boring, but it's time away from being from school and hanging out with your friends it may be boring but in those situations you get tested and to show your creativity with your friends and your peers. This school has so much things the Science building is nice and so is the Drama building I am excited to see what building they are building now and I can't wait to see what they build next. You can send your child there amazing school and heaps of sporting academies and support for your child to be the best.

Currently a student here, very disgusting. Been here since year 7 and in year 12 now. I want to move, but i'm just pushing through until the end of the year. Teachers are VERY VERY VERY RACIST, some even saying racial slurs and claiming that it is in reference of a text..... Wouldn't recommend. Teachers dont care about students wellbeing, other students gossip upon other students, the school completely disregards what it claims to stand for. Students in english classes making racist comments whilst being educated" on racism

I am a bit shocked in reading the reasons for giving Marymede a bad review. So much generalization and also from people who even ever walked its campus. This school has been offering a caring and friendly environment. I appreciate how teachers can focus on the curriculum while also maintaining respect of the rules (i.e. uniforms, punctuality, values). I was trained in tough schools so I think students could be pushed more in the sense that the Vic curriculum should be generally more challenging. But that's another matter!

It appears this school only replies to negative comments by stating their identity is not found and that they are fake Why don't you as a school take on board what people are saying about your school and do something about it instead of invalidating people's comment's .it sounds that your teachers are hopeless at teaching and not qualified as they focus on appearances instead of the curriculum. Obviously you're more about funding .it has been brought to my attention that one of your teachers is willing to administer medication on one of your students without the students knowledge by saying that the medication is actually vitamins .how dare ythe teacher do that to the student . I will be reporting you to the relevant department ans especially to someone who will take care if your abusive behaviour

If you're catholic and looking for a place to send your child to learn and uphold those beliefs, then you've come to the WRONG place. This school has become nothing but a woke cesspool in recent years. I was here from year 2 to 12 and I single handedly witnessed the gradual decline to the point it's at now. It was a great school at one point, now it's become the opposite of what it once was. Most biased teachers you could ever ask for, bunch of Daniel Andrews dickriders who did nothing but worship him during lessons and praise the lockdowns while they continued earning a paycheck whilst small business owners were struggling and being shut down left, right and center. Conservative views basically get you blacklisted here, both by staff and students. We were subject to bias left leaning articles in English last year and I did nothing but roll my eyes every time I had to listen to these $7,000 a year indoctrination. Any parents reading this, take my word, do not waste your money and do not waste your time. Unqualified teachers, woke curriculums, betrayers to catholicism and toxicity that goes beyond the moon.

The school is honestly all over the place. The staff is a mixed bunch, some that just really gets on peoples nerves and are hypocrites, which are usually found in the mainstream classes for secondary. I’m in the enhanced stream, so my teachers are always on their best game, and are pretty good at what they do, so I only needed to deal with that in primary. The rules is alright. A lot of people complain that it is strict/ridiculous, but honestly I don’t see the issue. The students are a lot like the staff, but probably worser. In secondary, there’s a lot of students, and literally everyone has a bad side, to the point where you can find anyone talking behind your back. I would suggest sending your child to the school from primary, since secondary has a huge population, and you would probably get swept up by the flow. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, as long as you got a few friends, get on the teachers good side and avoid trouble, but it’s quite disappointing to see, since this is a private school, and I hope they can improve.

Marymede is actually a great school. During my 7 years here I have always been satisfied with the school, staff and other students there. If you send your child there don’t worry I can guarantee they will be fine. The school is welcoming and caring and it is very easy to make friends there. Marymede offers a wide range of education from core subjects like maths and English to food tech and wood tech.
