Darling Kebabs

The worst pide we’ve ever had. They heat it up on the grill where they cook burgers so the pide is greasy and tastes like old oil. We all felt so sick afterwards. Never again.

If you want late night food in Balmain this is about the only place open on the peninsula. Owner is nice and friendly and the food is average.Maybe it was due to the fact that I was there just before it was time to close. The veggies in my wrap was not fresh and the tomatoes were a bit stale. I have never not finished a felafel wrap but in this instance I just couldn’t eat more than half of it.Will try again at a different time and see if it’s any different. It’s been here for almost 30 years.

Loved this place in the past, but seems like they are continuously running a cost cutting scam. They never add the extra cheese that I pay for which is clearly written BY THEM onto the box. They also fill up the lid of the snack pack container instead of the main compartment, which is HALF the size. Gave them a few chances because it could be an honest mistake, but nope, happens every time.

Wonderful friendly staff and delicious food. Perfect combination.

Shocking customer service dirty place absolutely foul attitude.never happy when they get money.no attention to detail.Eat at your own risk.nowonder its not populari hear.preferably for drunk clientelle it seems. They dont accept complaints from normal folks! Refused to listen to customers feedback.Man is very different and gave credit .Woman concerned about being paid.making a big deal over nothing.because was in hospital and owed credit.which was paid in full.

Excellent service. They asked me if I wanted Chicken salt, which I did not.

Vegetable was off & very badHe didn't use fresh vegetables in front. He used off ones at back first..Totally disgusted when I saw this.NOBODY should go there EVERTries flirting with every lady too..So annoying.

Best Kebabs and Snack packs in Balmain. Very tasty food, always fresh, ready to go, and always a good price for the amount of food recieved. Would open up early so that I could get my morning tea from here, very appreciative of that. When I want Kebabs or Snack packs, I always choose here.

If I could give zero stars I would. Not for the food ( I never made it that far ), but for the service and attitude. It was my first time there and after walking up and down Darling St trying to figure out what I wanted I noticed nobody in there. As a small business owner I felt bad for them so thought I'd go get a kebab as I know people are wary of food establishments that are empty. I walked in and tried to order a kebab and chips and he was very abrupt when asking what size chips. I have family whose first language isn't English so ignored it but he did it again when asking what sauce, and what size water. Again- no big deal. I paid and was about to step outside to wait and noticed he was turning to prepare my food with the same gloves on that just touched my cash. I politely asked him if he'd mind putting on a fresh pair of gloves. I don't think that's an unreasonable request any time when it comes to food, but during a global pandemic I would think he'd be fine with it. He angrily told me he was wearing gloves. I said Yes
