The drinks and ice cream are good, but the food and service are a bit average. Waited close to an hour for food today, about 8 people ahead of us so understandable. However the chips came out with half of them cooked and half frozen and the burgers barley warm. When the staff in the kitchen are saying how much they don’t want to be there it’s probably not a good sign for the food. I like this place, but it’s been disappointing lately.

First time visiting since their relocation from Pumpyard. Nice diner setting with lots of comfy seating and close parking.The menu extends to more than ice cream now. I do however feel that the quality / emphasis of ice cream has slipped a little - no more tasting paddles, empty tubs in the display fridge etc. Choc-chilli flavour had a surprising hit of fire, which was nice! Fairy Bread just tasted like vanilla icecream with 100s and 1000s mixed in. To be fair...fairy bread isn't overly complex either.Didn't try the savoury items this time around. Seems a little pricey but we'll give it a shot next visit.

Pretty good place. Wish there was more air con blasting for summer days, especially when there's lots of people around. Mini burger is nice. Vegan burger was alright, a bit burnt. Chips are nice and chunky. Shakes are well presented but average tasting. Waffles my friend had said it was delicious and big serving. Enjoy!!

Waffles weren't anything that great. No wow factor I experienced like the first time I went there when they first opened.Coffee needed to get remade because the majority of it was froth. They were happy to remake. Coffee tasted good.Great atmosphere, service was good.

We dined in.The wait initially was a tad long as it didnt appear communication between the kitchen and front of house was clear.We ordered the satay beef burger, the pulled pork burger, the loaded chilli sauce and sour cream chips, and 2 milkshakes.I specified that I had severed allergies to lavender and that the area would need to be cleaned prior and I was told the area gets fully sterlaised each time. And would be recleaned prior to making the milkshakes to prevent the allergy.All food items were fresh and the wait time was quite quick, drinks came out slightly before the food.Presentation and quality was fantastic.Can't fault the food, quality or taste at all.Definitely worth a visit.

Ungermann's is a little cute, gives that retro vibe with the furniture, decor and music, but that was pretty much all we liked!I'm not sure if staff were just getting into the Halloween spirit or their attitudes are always that dead.Food was very average for what you pay (and I'm never one to complain about the price of food if it's great food!). We ordered meals and drinks, I ordered 2 thickshakes and 1 milk shake, we received 2 MILKSHAKES after our food had been served, and 1 THICKSHAKE as we were ready to leave, which we watched the lady walk back and forth behind the counter trying to make the said thickshack. Our meals came out 1 meal at a time, with up to 5 minutes before another was brought out to our table. We (there were 3 of us) ordered the fruit salad waffles - was honestly the best thing we received, though the waffle could of been cooked for a short time longer, but still delicious. Ordered a fried brie and meat burger with caramelized onions and cranberry, now for nearly $19 I expected something a little nicer, the description of the burger is exactly what you get, not that that's a bad thing I guess but to be honest the meal was worth no more than $13, the bun was so stale that even heated the bun was still stale. Ordered the Ungermann's Burger - again wasn't worth the near $19 but wasn't distasteful, again same stale bun situation. And the loaded fries, with sweet and sour sauce and sour cream - look I don't know it it's the cheap brand of chips they use or the fact that maybe the oil needs changing but all chips were not fantastic. In all we spent $102 on 1 waffle, 2 burgers, 1 loaded fries and 3 shakes. We will sadly not return.

Family of 4 .Tried a different burger each.Hubby had triple sticker, said partie was delish, but couldn't fut in his mouth lol,messy to eat but great, daughter had pulled pork which was delish too, soft saucy pork with slow, messy to wat also.Son had fried chicken ,he didn't say much, just woofed it down sobhad to be good.I had the burger with the brie.1st half was good but then too cheesy for me .Good service.Plenty of interesting icecream flavours,Tried the beer icecream n chocolate,prefer the chocolate,but the beer was not yucky either.Nice atmostphere.Will definitely be back.

Had lunch on monday. Thank god the Milk bar was open as nothing else seemed to be open a monday afternoon at 1pm.To our surprise they did not only serve desserts and milkshakes but also savoury food.My partener got a burger and myself the lovely savoury waffle with avocado, sour cream, bacon, bbq sauce and chutney. Delicious, very filling. We had a little space for a milkshake and a pavlova Sundae. The milkshake wasn't to our liking (lacked the vanilla taste) but the rest was super.The restaurant is nicely and may i say elegantly decorated with christmas decorations and the staff are friendly and nice. I highy recommend.
