I was there around Christmas and found staff to be helpful and friendly, but stock was depleted, so I left with a gift card instead. My wife recently went in to ask about books on macramé, and was duly “corrected” on her pronunciation of the word by a shopkeeper who clearly has a more British slant on things. Deducted ratings points for this customer service faux pas. I suggest looking up Julien Miquel’s video “How to pronounce macramé (CORRECTLY)” on YouTube.
