The views from every angle was amazing! Cosy accommodation and lovely staff. Horse riding was just fantastic with friendly horses. Will be recommending to my friends and family from Victoria to come here! Thank you for making my first horse riding experience one to remember!

I stayed two nights in the 1 bedroom lodge, absolutely stunning. The fire was a beautiful touch and the large bath tub was a must after a days ride. I did a full day ride with Bella and she was amazing. This is a magical place and would love to return some time in the future.

We went for the riding. Family of 5 age 12-15 plus adults. Some experienced riders some not. Amazing scenery. Kangaroos wallaby’s. Brumbies. The trail was fun. The horses followed. We had new riders that just went for fun. We had experienced riders. I will do this again if in area. Absolutely beautiful.I read some of the other reviews. Wear boots. Even inexperienced will be fun but it is a trail ride so dress correctly

This was my first horse riding experience and I would not recommend it for beginner.  The scenery was beautiful and so were the horses.  We had a safety talk at the beginning and helped to mount the horse which was good and it seemed to be going well however my horse was keen to get back to the homestead and seemed to start getting a bit antsy (which I'm told is normal behaviour for a horse, fair enough) however we had 2 x instructors and I felt like I was provided with 2 sets of instructions on how to handle the horse- it was actually quite terrifying at the end as my horse started to want to bolt and I felt like the young girl who was one of the guides was getting frustrated with me which was stressful (she was fine up to that point). I'm not sure if these horses are suited to a beginner so if you are a beginner, don't come here.  It's probably fine for those who are experienced. It was nice that the owner let me meet his dog as I am a dog lover.  Also, I was wearing hiking boots so I'm not sure why I needed to hire boots that didn't really fit me. I knew that was the deal though so I factored that into the cost. Lucky I love the horses and animals in general otherwise I probably wouldn't go horse riding again.given 2 x different

Had an amazing 3 days at the Snowy Wilderness Resort with friends. We stayed in the Homestead which was a stones throw from the stables and located right by a gorgeous little pond, full of Lilly pads and lots of frogs. The horse riding was spectacular and as we did 2 full days of riding, we were offered a diverse range of rides. The horses were top notch and very well looked after and the team of staff were lovely. Overall an idyllic location for a city escape amongst some truely amazing Australian landscape. Thanks for a wonderful trip

We had a lovely time. The horses are well looked after and accommodation was clean. When I got bounced off my horse (through no fault of the resort) Bella and Tori were quick to my rescue, and checked on me for the remainder of our stay, as did the owners. We had total privacy which was heaven. The trail ride was excellent, the scenery was fantastic, and the location is about 20 minutes from Jindabyne and even a quick trip to the snow fields.

Wow what an unpleasant experience. Bad first impression, arrived on time and left waiting to be greeted by the owners, once they arrived the man was very grumpy towards other guest at no fault of their own. After waiting around for 15 minutes, get told to we have to spend $10 to hire riding boots which are old and dirty, and the sizes are all mixed up (we wore hiking boots but apparently they are bad ?)We then waited around another 15 minutes while the two owners argued in front of us all about the houses saddles fitting incorrectly. This was awkward. They then told my beginner partner that his horse bites. From there it all went even more down hill. My partners horse was trying to bite all the other horses and the man was going off at my partner because he couldn’t stop the horse from doing it. This was my partners first time riding and it was a horrible experience, he should of never be given a horse that was not suitable for a beginner. After the ride we told the female owner about issues with the horse and how it was a stressful ride for everyone because of the horses behaviour; she just shrugged it off. I would not recommend this company to anyone, it was a really disappointing experience.

Lovley destination, great helpful younger staff.Due to the poor attitude of Justin this is a one and done sorta trip unfortunately.Telling someone that the horse put in a complaint about there weight. And the constantly being highly intoxicated infront of everyone was unwelcoming.Beautiful horses but this is not a destination for beginner riders multiply people fell off and got bruised up badly.

Whilst the horses and scenery are lovely, the rest of the experience wasn’t.The old man who runs the place made us feel uncomfortable from the start by his miserable attitude. Had to stand around for 20 minutes waiting for him to finish abusing customers over the phone before we were even acknowledged.I guess he then couldn’t bear to pass up the opportunity to squeeze more $ from us - demanding we hired filthy broken boots that didn’t even come in my size for $10 each. Unclear what that $10 was for as the boots weren’t even maintained in a reasonable condition. The boots we were wearing were far more comfortable and totally acceptable for riding, and I have never attended a trail ride anywhere in the country that doesn’t include this in the cost of the ride (which is already expensive enough). When the horrible old saddle, that hadn’t been fitted properly, slipped on my horse whilst going downhill, I landed on my feet in the mud. My feet ended up soaked due to multiple holes in the shoes. Finally, the young woman leading our ride spent the entire time on her phone, allowing us to canter once. Otherwise the entire ride was taken at a slow plod.Very disappointing. When there are so many wonderful trail rides in the area, don’t bother wasting your money here.
