We spent a great couple of hours at Pat’s gems. Corinne, who showed us how to fossick for the sapphires was lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful. Although we can’t retire anytime soon on our finds we had an enjoyable time and took home sapphires in a variety of colours.

Fantastic experience at Pats Gems! The staff were so friendly and helpful, and showed us the best way to find sapphires! We parked our caravan out the front and bought two buckets. We got quite a few sapphires from just two buckets! The carrot cake and wedges from the cafe are also so delicious. Would highly recommend spending the whole morning here!!!

Pat's Gems was so much fun.Turned up for breakfast the staff were amazing super friendly and very knowledgeable. They showed me how to look for gems but also had a laugh and a chat about the local history and town. I had my bucket and I was so excited... After an hour I had found a bag of gems. So worth the visit.

This was our first fossicking experiences. Very laid back and casual atmosphere, reasonable prices for paydirt and the staff gave a good demonstration on what to do, as well as periodically popped over to answer any questions. Licences venue with good food as well. Gift shop pricing has some highs and lows, as is common.

Great place to spend the afternoon. Food is excellent with daily specials and they have a decent bar too. Grab a bucket of wash and have fun picking out some sapphires.

Good, educational fun for whole family. Great advice and fairly reasonable prices. Kids had a fun time and found several gems which was quite exciting. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time at Pat’s gems. Extremely knowledgeable staff taught us a lot about the different stones. Lunch was delicious steak burgers and some chips. The food was yummy although the chips had a bit too much salt on them for us. We sat in a beautiful outdoor area with shady gardens. Very pleasant.
