Have just had an Extruded Maxiblock shutter installed on our most wind-prone balcony door. It makes a tremendous difference in the high winds of our location. The colour choices match our existing building very nicely, and the ability to close it remotely using the smart hub are yet another benefit. Excellent communication & customer support too.

I have blockout shutters installed at my house, have had them for many years, very happy with them.A few days ago I called due to one of my electric shutters having a minor issue. Spoke with, Mark, booked a time for a technician to come be here between 9 to 9:30am.Here's me taking the day off work for this, and no one shows. I call these guys back at 11am. Girl told me that, Mark, will call me back.8am this morning, my doorbell rings, it's a blockout technician. He tells me that he was told the job for yesterday was cancelled. I told him no one had contacted me, and not to worry about it.Not sure what's going on but, I think I won't be using them, again, in the future. Terrible communication, no consideration for your time. Look elsewhere.PS: The other day the owner called to apologise. He wasn't happy that his staff dropped the ball. He also explained that most of his staff were sick. For this I'm bumping my stars from 1 to 3. I may consider using them in the future, we'll see.

I've had shutters since the company commenced and have required a few service calls over the years. Unfortunately, the after sales/repairs division needs urgent addressing.A customer calls requesting a service call...said customer receives an allotted time or a return call if necessary within stated time frame. The customer should not be required to make follow-up calls.An appointment is that of a set date and time. It is not of a vague estimation. The time of the customer is of equal billing.

We recently had roller shutters installed on some large windows in our property. Everyone else said it couldnt be done or would need to be done with multiple small units. Blockout solved it with high quality large units and worked around the quirks of our install with our roof. Great service, friendly and quality install. Highly recommended.
