Caloundra Holiday Centre

Unit 5 Allamanda Place has a nice view that’s it. The description should have no aircon no fly screens and only 1small standing fan in lounge. The wind was so bad you couldn’t open the place to cool it down but the wind still got through the seals of doors and windows that kept you awake all night. When the wind finally calmed down on last night you still have the doors close and sweated it out or the mosquitoes eat us alive. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone from down south who live in colder climates

Feel extremely sorry for whoever owns the unit we booked through Caloundra holiday centre as the unit is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful! Unfortunately our room was not clean on arrival, dead flies and roaches in a lot of the cupboards and we were not supplied with anything to clean dishes with which is requested to be done on checkout. One toilet roll in each bathroom so we also had to go out and purchase more. Rang the company first thing Monday morning as we checked in on a Sunday and office was closed. Explained the situation and was told I would receive a call back in regards to my complaints......4pm rolls around and no call back and we are due to check out the next morning. So I rang again to ask what are we suppose to do and was told to go out and purchase dishwashing tablets and liquid and we would be reimbursed? Why would I want to go and purchase these items on my already short family holiday. If I didn’t do this we would be charged an extra cleaning fee for dishes not been done. Appalling!!

I booked a property without realising my wife had sorted something out when I emailed and asked about cancellation, Caloundra Holiday Centre were more than helpful and I received my refund the next day. They had plenty of properties that were really affordable.

We've visited Caloundra many times but this was the first time we've used the Caloundra Holiday Center. The staff were amazing and so helpful. I rang several times from NZ before our trip asking about various things like afterhours key pickup by our friend arriving before us, and nothing was a bother - so helpful! Will definitely be using this company again - the lovely staff have already answered questions i had for our next stay!

They didn't even tell me of constuction in the apartment directly next door to my accomodation. So I was woken to jack hammers at 6:30 every morning. Also the cleaner went through the rubbish bin and pulled out a closed water bottle with a couple of cigarette butts inside of it and took a photo of it. Inside the unit it clearly states please smoke on the balcony, which i did. Plus the bottle was in the rubbish so i dont know what the problem is there. I just cant believe the cleaner rummages through the guests rubbish!

We spent two nights at Golden Retreat at Golden Beach very recently. Although we were happy with the location and layout of the house, the level of cleanliness was poor. For example, the toilets were not flushed but had been used. The cooktop had fat splattered all over the controls. The outside glass table was dirty. The doonas were very dusty etc. Two bathmats covered in hair and fluff were in the bathrooms . If they were left there by the previous tenant, the cleaners should have removed them.We left the place cleaner than we found it.Other than the house being unclean, we had a very nice stay.

We always use Caloundra Holiday Centre to book at Centrepoint, every September we stay in unit 58, and last time we were able to stay in unit 61 which is even better. We love Centrepoint because of the pool as it is warm all year round, and the rooms also have awesome views of the ocean, the only thing I will say is unit 58 does need a bit of refurbishment, but still a very nice place to stay.

I would just like to thank Caloundra Holiday Centre for their professionalism and excellent service on our stay at Unit 4 Shorebreak Kings Beach recently. We reported an issue which wasn't an easy one to resolve and they promised it would be fixed the next day. We were pleasantly surprised upon returning from our outing that it had in fact been done that afternoon. Great service and friendly, helpful staff! Highly recommended
