Gerringong Whale Watching Platform
One of the best whale watching lookout points in Australia. Situated next to Kiama and within nice natural park. Free car parking and yes keep eye on distance to spot those migrating whales. You may spot them literally every hour during migrating season.

There's hardly any view from the actual lookout as its well off the edge of the coast and there is a line of trees which partially block the view.

One of my favorite places. Beautiful view of the sea, beach, and truly green hills/landscape around. Perfect place for picnics.

Gerringong Whale Watching Platform
Stunning views with a little cemetery full of beautiful rose gardens and lush green hill background. Further down and towards the north is the whale watching platform which is obstructed by the bushland in front. Not sure if you would be able to see any whales from it. The carpark is very small so consider yourself lucky if you get a spot.
