Went there on a quiet lunch. We had the blue fin tuna with yuzu and pea sauces. It was very delicious. The crispy duck legs were also fall of the bone and the sauce reminded me of Indonesian’s ketchup chilli sambal. I had a grilled wagyu for main. It was delicious. I only didn’t like the chewy fat at the end of the meat. My friend’s fish was lovely. We had mash potato for a side, yum. The dessert was choc lava cake. A bit dry for my liking but all together with amaro nonino, was perfect. The dessert drink amaro nonino was very nice. It’s alcoholic drink btw. Price is reasonable for up market dining. Ambiance was good and so the service. Would be back sometimes.

I have seen this place all over my Instagram and Facebook and decided to give it a try. After finding they offering half price m the food. If you book through First Table, I decide to give it a try. Food was okay and drinks were alright. We got prawns, tarter which was amazing. And bone Morrow, which also was interestingSteak came cold. Not warm. literally came super cold not just one steak all three steaks on the table came cold which makes no sense. They took 40 minutes to come out and it came cold. The only good thing about the main was the duck and that came hot desserts we got the fire and ice board. It was cool it was lit on fire. Which was awesome. but the actual flavour of the deserts was leaking from the brownie tasted funny. The cheesecake was not fresh crème brûlée was crumbly. It wasn’t smooth it was weird

The food and the atmosphere were great. The prices are higher than other places but the food quality is completely worth it. We had a good service from two female staff until 5 minutes after finishing the main meals one male staff that did not serve us at all from the beginning came straight up and asked if its ok to give us the bill. Other restaurants would come and ask if we want dessert or more wine, but this one acted like they wanted us to leave asap so we decided to take the bill and pay and have deserts or drinks elsewhere instead of here (hopefully this is not due to that we do not fit in their typical customers" category). We wanted to come back here for beef wellington

Absolutely nothing short of excellence! Myself and my partner went to dinner on Saturday night, it was very busy but as guests we haven't felt it at all. From door service to all amazing staff, very knowledgeable and accommodating, amazing drinks and most definitely the best tomahawk steak I have ever had in my life. If I could give the team 100 stars I would! Such well thought trough restaurant, absolute pleasure and I highly recommend it. We had the best seat of the house (in our opinion) right in front of the kitchen where we were able to see everything happen - MAGIC! Thank you guys, we will be definitely back again, you made my month!

Pretty sweet meat place on Kensington Street, Chippendale: Eastside Bar & Grill, Pretty epic feed, great wine and dessert. Entrees: The Sydney rock oysters were fresh and delish, scallop sashimi, grilled prawns and bone marrow. Mains: Blue eyes cod and the O'Connor ribeye with mushroom sauce. Sides: Portobello mushrooms and green beans. Desserts: cheesecake and chocolate brownie with popcorn. So good! Literally waddled out.

Pleasant experience with family. Fire and ice never disappoints, ordered the tomahawk (medium) tasted incredible. Not my first time here.. and not my last. It saddens me to read some people's negative reviews as I've only ever had a wonderful experience.. good food and friendly staff.

Simply put would be if you're looking for good food cooked by chefs who does every meats, produces, side dishes justice with a laid back vibe, you just gotta go.Only issue is finding parking around that area.Dessert was spectacular*Halal meat*

While the steaks were delicious, especially the Japanese A5, it's not worth the money even at half price. If you must try yourself, skip on all the starters, mains and desserts and just order steak as everything else on the menu was just ehh.The Japanese A5 and dry aged tomahawk was the juiciest.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s worth the money. Don’t get me wrong, the steaks were delicious, but for that amount of money you can definitely get better value in Sydney. We spent about $140/pp and are still hungry. Steaks set you back about ~$100/pp on average. The side of the truffled mash ($19) was so small we actually thought it was a sauce. It was genuinely small enough that it became a joke at the table. It was about 2 spoon fulls. The sauces are also $4 each and serve about half a steak. The guy that served us was great. The two girls were mediocre unfortunately. One even seemed to scoff at us when we asked for the bill.Probably won’t be back unfortunately. Some great steaks, but overall I don’t think it’s worth it.

We had our wedding reception at Eastside over the weekend and I cannot thank them enough for making it one of the best nights of my life. Davide was extremely helpful, making the whole night a breeze to manage. The bar staff was very friendly and loved by our guests. I have received non-stop accolades from the guests at the quality of the food. We have been told that this might have been the best food they have received at a wedding reception, so a huge thank you to the kitchen staff for that. Our guests have been raving about the vibe of the venue, the quality of the food, and the seamless experience of it all. We had a few delays and issues that were out of the restaurant's controls, but the whole team handled it in such a painless way that all of the guests thought everything went according to plan flawlessly. We had approximately 70 people and with some light shuffling after meals were served, we still had room for a decent dance floor. Thank you again to the team for a night none of us will never forget.
