Village Midwifery

Village Midwifery provided a warm, open & knowledgeable space for me as a first time Mother. I was able to facilitate a shared care model by seeing Gemma, alongside the antenatal clinic in Wagga. The beauty about seeing Gemma at The Village was I was able to see the same friendly face, each antenatal visit, who knew exactly where my pregnancy was up to! Gemma then provided a home visit service where she was able to visit me & our newborn in the comfort of our home. Gemma was able to sit & watch me feed, help with attachment then and there & do daily checks on our daughter & myself. We also attended the CalmBirth classes that Gemma offers at the Village & felt empowered and confident in the lead up to meeting our baby. The Village Tumut really is a one stop shop for mothers, babies and families.A fantastic circle of support for our community.

The service Gemma offers to our community is such an asset. She is kind, compassionate and very knowledgeable. You are in great hands at Village Midwifery.

I was fortunate to have a massage and acupuncture session with Sam at The Village Midwifery. She was fantastic in taking her time to listen to my ailments and focus on improving them through various acupressure points. Thank you Sam, and also Gemma for bringing there amazing services to our town.
