Fragile Removals & Storage - Perth
Had my furniture picked up from nsw to be taken interstate to Perth. Was supposed to arrive on the 14th Oct. I gave them a few calls a few days before hand to make sure stuff was on schedule and got a vague response about driver availability. Then I received an invoice for a months storage, which I responded to by letting them know I did not need storage as I had an empty house waiting for the furniture. A few days after that I get another invoice for over $1000 for extras that weren't on my original inventory..which there were but they were 2 rather large items that were listed that simply did not exist. I told my good could not be delivered until the 20th Oct and not unless the extra grand had been paid. I offered to pay the extra if they could get my goods to me sooner, suddenly they had a driver available on the 17th Oct. I waited all day, finally the truck arrived at 5pm! By this time I'm tired and stressed and just told the boys to unload as quickly as possible and to put all the boxes in one room..the 2 blokes did not have an allen key between them..so all legs were left off the lounge and the beds. My fridge freezer which was under 12 mths old now has several small dints on the front doors, my washing machine, also newish makes a loud whirring noise now, because the drum stabilisers were not used although they were available, it also has scuff marks that were not present before. The biggest upset is my dining table..very obviously had something heavy resting on the legs and they are broken, I've had 3 attempts to fix the legs myself without success. The glass table top is still propped up against the wall 3 weeks later and the stand/ legs are still in pieces..had other issues but to much to write here..upshot is , I would not recommend this removals company.

Wouldn’t recommend. Recently relocated from VIC to WA. My tv was irreparably damaged. They definitely do not deserved to be called fragile movers. No one should move a tv by themselves. It’s a two person job regardless of how strong you are. Sadly fragile removals did not seem to understand that despite their name. They also could not figure out where did one of my bag went. The worst thing is they only insure up to $2500 for tvs which I still need to pay $500 for excess, effectively only covering $2000 on my tv that I bought last year for >3k. Very upsetting. Would not recommend.EDIT:Fragile removals have since contacted me to remind me that my partner was the one that decided to insure my tv for $2000. Also they did reimburse $400 for the bag that they lost. They also told us to remove the review which I will not.Reason being:While I understand that we insured the tv for $2500. I was under the impression that the tv would be delivered in one piece and in the event it doesn’t turn on due to transporting then I guess I it is fair I be reimbursed the amount that the tv was insured. But my TV was mishandled intentionally by the movers. It was not an accident that my tv was broken it was due to neglect. Oled tv panels are so thin and it should neither be handled by its corners nor by a single man. Also, since then, I have noticed indentations on that my ergotune supreme’s foam armrest - as if they have been supporting a heavy pole for a long time. The fabric seat also feels like there is an indentation on a part that my bum does not sit on - also as if something heavy was placed on it for a long time and had stretched out the fabric.I was opened one of my boxes and the bottom of the box was covered in glass - i couldn’t even figured out what was broken as they were pieces of shattered glasses. This is amongst bowls etc that was wrapped in bubble wrap. Just gives me an idea of how much force were using to throw my boxes and belongings around.I’m staying in a temporary house atm most of my boxes are unopened I’m am afraid of opening them and finding out what else is broken. I understand that moving stuff requires brawn but it also requires finesse. They claimed themselves to be fragile removals but they are none of that. I am only glad that the stuff that I have are not sentimental. Once again I will not recommend fragile removals and will not use their services again.Customer service was good tho communication was quick. 2 stars for that.

Awful experience in any way. Moving Melbourne to Perth, half of our furniture broken, TV broken, mattress, clothes and shoes damaged by water infiltration. A lot of useless calls trying to get refunded as everything was under insurance, we are still waiting and we don't know what's going to happen as the customer service doesn't help.Worst moving experience ever. Avoid fragile removals.

Terrible experience moving from Melbourne to Perth with Fragile Removals. Their packers packed way more boxes than required half full and many crumpled in on eachother, they stacked a huge load onto our dining table and snapped clean it in half and promised a refund for space not used. In trying to seek the claim for the dining table and the refund promised for space not used, they started our extremely aggressive in their dealings and now have never responded again, after multiple genuine attempts. Can not believe a company could conduct business this way. Would not reccommend!

I used fragile to move my house from Perth to Adelaide a full container during January the busiest and most expensive week of the year to move!!. Fragile were extremely competitive on price (by multiple $1000 of $) the team who arrived and packed the container and our kitchen were fantastic. They were so thorough and wrapped everything in blankets etc we knew they are called fragile for a reason! The customer service was adequate and they were happyTo talk through their quote etc at length. The delivery by their subcontractor into Adelaide was very well done and everything arrived safely nothing was broken. A few communication issues with the container arriving in the afternoon instead of the morning but we are fairly relaxed people and happy to go with the flow considering what we had saved by choosing this provider. Would happilyRecommend them.

Moved from Melbourne to Perth. Terrible company. Stuff broken and they take no accountability. Insurance is a scam with how hard they make it to claim etc. I would avoid at all costs!

Recently we used Fragile Removals to move from Victoria to Perth booked through Muval.By all accounts from a family member at the pick up point in Victoria, the guys that turned up were amazing, hard working and did a really good job of packing the load for transport. However...When the items were delivered to Perth, it was obvious there had been some sort of accident as one item in particular (a unique, large lamp hood) had been crushed & marked beyond repair. We did not have insurance on the hood but it was made known that it was a fragile item that needed to be handled with care. After many attempts to report the issue, we were met with radio silence. No follow up or explanation after calls, emails and voicemails. Just silence. They charge a bundle for less than satisfactory service.I would not recommend Fragile Removals.

Possibly the worst and most unhelpful movers, I have ever encountered!! Not only did they break our TV, washing machine, serval plates and they DROPPED OUR MATTRESS IN THE DIRT, but even after we paid for insurance they still refused to cover the costs of the damages. Please don’t ever use this company. They are quite literally the worst moving company out there.

AVOID !!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. EVER. Please read review for details.Hi Everyone,We used fragile removals to move all of my furniture, whitegoods and electronics from Melbourne interstate to Perth in December/January.We paid extra for insurance as we were worried about the distance our beloved housing items were travelling across Australia. We received our items in January and our 75 inch TV, Washing machine, coffee machine, mattress and lots of other items were all damaged in the process. Now we are being told that the insurance does not cover the damages! So upset is an understatement. There was around $9000 worth of items damaged and won’t be able to recoup any of it.Please if you have any sense do not use these for moving home. Lesson learned!!!!
