Nice location. You have the choice of either the ocean or the river to swim in. There is BBQ facitilices there and somw seating but there is plently grass on the river side to throw a blanket down and enjoy the day.

Excellent place for a holiday with the family. Quiet place away from traffic. Tranquil environment. Great place for fishing with the kids.

This place is like the place in your dreams. The places you imagine you want to go. Safe for the kids. The water was fairly calm. Crystal clear water. Dog friendly. Large river frontage so you can be away from people still. I would come to wooli again just to come play at this river. 5 star. Wish I got a video to share. Next time

Wooli Wooli River is my favorite destination when on the upper east coast of NSW. The fishing at this location is superb with a large variety of fish species to target along the river. A good boat ramp with ample parking can be found on the South Terrace Rd.

Tad cold for me but lots of people love it. Clear water and great for kids and paddle boarding or similar waterspouts. Saw one person water sking. Great Sandy beach for kids to play on.

Township is well out dated.Although the beaches etc are up there with some of North Qlds finest.
