Recommend asking for an actual stock check before ordering any item. Never had a smooth online transaction (4 in total) due to website incorrectly listing items as available. Customer service is inconsistent, sometimes helpful and not (delayed refund and required PayPal escalation in one case).

Absolute shocker ! Money grabbing liar. Has no stock just takes your money and hopes you'll wait forever for it to be delivered .. inevitably it doesn't come and you have to recover your funds through PayPal or whatever you've used. 2/ I emailed you at the time and you gave me some bull___t like you do to everyone apparently. Now no more hiding from bad reviews, which apparently get your attention, ppl in Australia are becoming aware of your bad business practices. Lift your game mate or get out of the business!

I have just completed my first purchase through Austars.First and foremost, in my opinion, the most important part of any online purchase is communication, right up to receiving the item(s).For this, I give Austars 5 stars ... Fantastic!My purchase was not an insignificant amount (for me) and to have an open line of email communication was very reassuring.The website could use a refresh (hence 4 Stars), however the team is easily contactable to confirm if an item is in stock.I have no hesitation at dealing with Austars again.David.

Purchased an ESM plane about 16 years ago, I'm just now getting back into flying RC, due to the planes age finding parts has been very difficult. Discovered that Austars Models had a set of electric retracts that fit. Steve helped me with the purchase and shipped them to me in the States, received them in less than a week. Five star service!
