I can’t fault this campground. The campground offers powered and unpowered tent/caravan sites, toilets, hot/cold showers, washing basins, bbq facilities. It’s situated near several historic sites. For powered sites, there are two levels - lower and upper. When booking, you will be assigned to a marked site with a code to access amenities. Each powered site has a powerpoint and a water tap. Whereas unpowered sites are unmarked. There are fire rings for cooking or bonfire. The facilities are clean and looked after. It’s a lovely place to stay for a few nights. I’m definitely staying there again.

Great little campground within Hill End village with powered or unpowered sites. Short walk into village or to surrounding trails and mines. Good facilities including hot showers, laundry and kettle/ microwave. Mobile phone booking possible at ground. Some grassed sites for tents, a little muddy after rain.

Extremely small powered sites where everyone is back to back on a busy Easter Long Weekend. 2 toilets and 2 showers per gender which in quiet time would be ok but not at Easter. One ladies shower was also not hot. Beautiful town, friendly and extremely accommodating locals who are all working very hard. Beautiful spot which allows fire pits. Recommend definitely but just note the smallish spaces

Great campground with all the facilities you need, clean water and dollar coin hot showers. Lots of Roos throughout the day. Powered sites are good but when the grounds are full we noticed losses of power. Bring warm clothes for the often cold nights. Locals are very friendly and helpful. The mine tour is a must. You need to supply your own firewood so plan ahead. They also have a washer, dryer and microwave setup for use, even a clothesline. From what I've seen, this is the best campground in the whole central west.

This campground is in a great location within easy walking distance of the village centre. Bookings need to be made via website or telephone with National Parks & Wildlife Services. Fees are reasonable. Amenities include showers and toilets, power and water, as well as individual fire pits. Powered sites are quite small but functional.

This campground is our favourite place to stay when we visit Hill End. It's so easy and convenient to the village itself. Grab a coffee at the local cafe, stroll around town, take in the lookouts and find the cemetery further out. Oh and gold panning!

Village campground has powered and unpowered campsites and is a great base for a family weekend spent discovering the living history of Hill End.A bonus of camping less than a kilometre from the centre of Hill End is that if you’ve forgotten any creature comforts – or something more vital – you can walk to the general store where you’re sure to find what you need.Or if you fancy a change from a picnic or barbecue why not stroll into town and grab a bite at the Royal Hotel?Been on the road for a while? You can even wash and dry your clothes at the new laundry here. Camping has never been so easy.

Truly lovely campsite, a short walk to everything in Hill End, including the general store and the Royal Hotel. Campsite has toilets and well powered hot showers as well as hot water sinks for washing up. Every campsite has a fire pit and can hold pots and pans and kettles for cooking with, very useful!

Great camping area. Plenty of spots to choose from. Facilities are good. Make sure you bring you $1 coins for the showers.Afternoon visits from kangaroos and birdsOnly downside is the feral cats in the area that like to roam the camp grounds at night.

One of the most beautiful places I've camped, you have a timeless environment between the old cottages, beautiful gardens, kangaroos hopping and playing around, galah's everywhere, the amenities are clean and kept tidy... Can you tell I just loved this place? I'm definitely coming back ❤️
