Kando Martial Arts Knox

We love Kando Martial Arts Knox, Sensei Andy is such a great teacher for the kids and the team that work with him all help to make you feel apart of a family. I highly recommend this place, as its not just about karate, they teach many life lessons and skills.I love straight away how comfortable my kids were with Sensei Andy, how welcoming they are to you and your kids. I love seeing the confidence my kids are getting from this and also the skills. Our eldest daughter is not the most coordinated and it's helping so much with that, and our youngest boy in kinda ninjas is learning to listen better and follow instructions as well as not always talk over the top or doing his own thing.Thanks Andy and the team!

The staff at Kando Knox are fantastic, from admin to Sensei Andy, everyone is very professional, friendly, and supportive.After only 2 months of classes, I can see the benefits of martial arts in not just physical coordination and motor skills, but also in learning how to follow instructions, listen, and understanding concepts like taking turns.Special mention to Sensei Andy who is fabulous! His patience with the kids and ability to wrangle them all in and have them follow his instructions is very impressive. He is firm with them when he needs to be, but in a manner that is still encouraging and gentle, and always works hard to get the best out of them.

Before starting I was worried I would make a fool of myself, not be fit enough and fail... But now the dojo has become my second home. More than that, I feel fully aware of my surroundings and more prepared to protect myself and my family should something happen. If you're thinking about getting started, Just do it. The staff are amazing, the environment is friendly and you'll feel so empowered by what you learn. 5 stars.

a fantastic club. Sensei Andy is such a wonderful, positive role model who makes each student feel valued. My son attends little dragons and it is age appropriate, while still challenging for him. He LOVES Karate. The way the club has pivoted to provide online access during COVID has been terrific. Highly recommend!

We joined Kando about two months ago and can't speak more highly of it. Our Kinder Ninja absolutely loved the classes, he has so much fun and learns some new skills every week. The staff have such a fantastic way with the kids and they make it all fun, calm and respectful. So glad we joined.

Every lesson for kinder Ninja for my 4yr old so far has been super beneficial for his hand eye co-ordination skills.Sensei Andy has been absolutely amazing with all the children and would definitely highly recommend this service.All the staff have been very welcoming and understanding with all types of different children even for my ASD child who can be a little much sometimes.

My son is thriving under Sensei Andy's guidance at Kando. Having never done martial arts before or been involved in it in any way, we started with a trial and my son has never been happier. The way it is structured, by achieving small goals, often, my son is learning valuable life lessons whilst learning new skills and getting stronger. There are cheaper studios out there but I would happily continue to pay more for the quality we are receiving at Kando Knox.

During such a tough time for so many, the team at Kando Knox have been able to keep us engaged in virtual classes, and ensure that the kids have been able to continue with their gradings during lockdowns. When able to go to the dojo the team are so welcoming of new people and you instantly feel like part of the family. Highly recommend Kando for anyone looking for a martial arts school for yourself or your kids!

I recommend Kando Knox to anyone. It is a very family oriented environment. The instructors are amazing with kids, so supportive and encouraging. My child's confidence has improved alot from going to Karate.

My child has been going to the Kando dojo since it first opened and he really enjoys Kando a lot. So much so, that is now wants to come three times a week. Sensei Andy and his team are increadible, creating a professional, fun and enjoyable place for the kids. They have created an safe environment which genuinely cares for the kids. The place has a great family feel and welcoming to new and exiting students. I have even started contemplating starting classes myself. I highly recommend Kando Martial Arts studio in Wantirna.
