Delicious food! We ordered whole boneless bbq chicken and chicken pomegranate stew for the two of us. Both were lip smacking dishes!Huge portions especially the rice was so much. We couldn’t finish the entire food, took leftover but left one portion of rice. Wish I knew their rice portion is massive, would have ordered for only 1rice. It wasn’t busy , only 4-5 tables were occupied considering a weeknight dinner post lockdown. They didn’t ask us for the Covid certificate which was bit strange. staff was polite but not interactive - not sure if thats the culture. I was trying to make some conversation thanking about food etc but nothing.Overall nice experience , our taste buds were happy.

A big thank you first to the amazing and hardworking staff of the restaurant. There was only 4 floor staff for the whole salon and they were doing great!And about the food, I’m so grateful that I invited my colleagues here and no where else to get the great taste of persian food for the first time.Everything we’ve ordered from Soltani Kebab to Baghali polo with Mahicheh and Tahchin was delicious. Tahchin was a bit dried but not much bad.Starters we ordered, Kashk o bademjan and Mirzaghasemi, were also good. Mirzaghasemi’s taste was a bit away from its real taste, but it was still ok.And for the dessert we ordered delicious Persian Saffron ice cream and Qotab(sweet) with persian tea.

The Gormeh Sabzi was delicious well flavoured green herb stew with tender lamb pieces. The saffron rice fluffy perfect, tasty. The appetizer Kashek E Bademjan eggplant dip the best, very flavourful had fried onions & fried mint with drizzled yoghurt whey decorated on top. Very appealing to the eye, a definite highlight for me.. The lavash persian bread could have been served hot though, but it was OK. The salad fresh loved the pink mayo dressing.. The barberry saffron rice fluffy, tangy & tasty another highlight.. The back strap lamb was well spiced had a nice flavour but could have been a little more tender as it was slightly chewy.. Overall nice food.. The dining lounges were comfortable with cushions to place behind your back.. The waitress was welcoming and provided a friendly service..

Went on Saturday night and enjoyed the live music.Had the vine leaves but couldn’t taste any herbs but it was tasty with the pomegranate molasses.We also had the Persian rice which was beautifully presented.

Divan Persian Restaurant
Divan was an unexpected find. A complimentary starter of warm flatbread, walnuts and feta cheese set the hospitable tone for the rest of the night.We shared the eggplant dip, the minced meat skewers, the lamb backstrap and the walnut, pomegranate & chicken stew. Despite the slightly dry lamb, the food was delicious and I particularly loved the earthy stew. And don't miss the unique sweet-savoury saffron ice cream and Persian black tea, a great way to end the meal.Warm service added to the experience and I'd be happy to return.

Was. Wet quite on a weekday lunch, but looks like it would get busy for dinner and weekends. Service was good and friendly. Ordered the rice cake which was nice, but it meant to be a meal. More of a share plate with other dishes. A few of the beers were warm but apart from that everyone enjoyed their dishes.

It was my first visit to this restaurant. I found their atmosphere and food above the average with relatively friendly table services. However I believe the restaurateur and the reception team need to improve their quality of their interaction with customers by adapting more professionalism and warm service.

Divan Persian Restaurant
Excellent persian food served in generous portions with live music (on a weekday evening - wow!). I can eat a lot but just couldn't finish my plate and ended up taking home leftovers of the succulent lamb neck served with rice (see picture). I suggest skipping any starters or sharing the mains. Service is prompt. Parking is a hassle, so please plan accordingly.
