Sun Select

Most frustrating company to deal with!!! My system installed by them stopped working 2.5 months ago. In the last two weeks EVERY DAY they promise to send me a technical and every day excuses that none is coming.STAY AWAY!I am going to leave this review until they turn up and fix the bloody system....Maybe that will help????

the installers were great and they explain everything to us and when they left we were connected straight away with solar. they arranged the paperwork for Energex of which they even have now contacted us.the company Sun Select, Ann in particular she really treated me like a friend during the purchase of our system. Ann has been an absolute pleasure to work with and I have greatly appreciated her care and her continuous communication. Ann has been supportive ,considerate ,polite and very professional. she was an absolute pleasure and nothing but the best was offered by her at anytime.

Excellent Start To Finish with no hassle, Jo electricitan was very friendly, professional & knowledge, Installer Charlie was professional. Sales team Jack & Ann were friendly and very helpful till the end, wouldn't get better service / price than this, perfect, Thanks Sun Select Team.RegardsJohn

THEY WILL WASTE YOUR TIME, GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!!I did an online enquiry. Ryan from Sun Select rang me, & rang me, & rang me & rang me....almost every day until I agreed to a contract.Then after that it was crickets.I had read all the horror reviews, but thought surely that wont happen to me. But it did.I sent them everything they wanted. Pictures of switchboards, meterbox etc etc. Then a month or two later they wanted the pictures again. I was confused as they'd already got it aaaages ago. Then they said they submitted the wrong paperwork to the Energy Provider, and that they'd have to re-do the applications all over again. I was now dealing with Charlie" & At this point I thought it had to be a joke

Had a contract to do a second house that was under construction. Unfortunately there were delays from the builder, but Sunselect agreed to wait as they had already received a down payment. When the builders were done they refused to honour the contract and wanted am extra $500 and to swap out components for lesser ones. They still have the deposit and won't honour the contract.During the process above, I noticed a water leak that was causing damage to my ceiling. Didn't realise it was due to the solar system until I went up on the roof.Installers did a poor job applying silicone seal and water got in causing damage to the ceiling. They refuse to fix it and will not honour the warranty.Unfortunately this is now headed to the magistrate's court as they refuse to act in any good faith. Mature I should be grail for their poor workmanship as it truly now makes me happy they won't honour the second contract.This is from the reply I received from consumer enquiries of the Clean Energy CouncilUnfortunately, Sun Select (ABN:24 621 635 130) are not an Approved Solar Retailer with the Clean Energy Council (CEC)Be very careful and fond someone else. If anything goes wrong you may end up with the type of problems they have given me.

Excellent from start to completion :I made an online enquiry to a number of solar companies. Sunselect had not only a good price for the same products as others, but their sales staff were friendly and informative. Thomas in Sales was always ready to answer any questions and made the process from quote to installation stage stress free.The installation had a little hiccup due to weather conditions and low light (winter install) but the installation coordinator handled the situation well.The team who finalised the installation including the Wi-Fi setup wer helpful and informative.I would definitely recommend Sun Select and their team for anyone looking for quality solar products at a very reasonable price.

This company would be one of rage worst I’ve ever dealt with.It seems there service manager is based in Sydney and they offer very little in physical assistance.All they offer is advice over the phone.Regret ever using them and hopefully Consumer Affairs will pull them into line.

Reviewed several companies finally choosing Sun Select and couldn't be happier with our choice. Karl bent over backwards with his information and service and 12 out of 10 for Karl. Cam and team the installers fantastic job and most accommodating. Will definitely recommend Sun Select

Just STAY AWAY from this company if you care your safety, time and money:The installation was made by non certified people and the electrician himself was not attended to the site for whole his task. The dangerous installation took 11 hours and still not finished. This company electrician and customer behavior is now under investigation by government officers and Customer Protection department as I raised complaints with them in order to a nightmare installation and the breach of law that has been committed by their electrician. So far Sunselect is also trying to cover this breach up by ignoring the concerns. Just stay away from them and don't do my mistake. They are very unprofessional company in terms of customer care and electrical installation. Just go with the APPROVED CEC companies not with the MEMBER only. The members are not covered by CEC obligations.

I’m really happy with my new solar system. From purchase to installation everything was smooth and no issues at all. I strongly recommend them. Thanks Thomas, you are doing a great job.
