Great lodge/accommodation if you want to explore Dwellingup but don't feel like camping in a tent. The shared bathrooms are very clean and accessible, shared kitchen has everything you'd need (3 fridges, 12 gas burners, microwave, hit water heater, even sandwich makers). We used the family room 3 which sleeps 6 and has a nice little lounge area. I'm keen to come back in the winter so we can use the fire pit and the pizza oven! Caretaker Stephanie was very kind to our kids and super helpful! Even provided candles when the power went out briefly. Lots of trails and out doors things to do nearby!

Power issue in the place. Every time the power turns back on the non functional air conditioner beeps waking my baby up.The fridges aren't working because of the power problem so 3 days of food for 30 people is spoiling in the heat.Could have been a great New Year's but it has turned into the holiday from hell with a newborn and a toddler.Update: after the 3rd phone call to the camp manager someone finally came to fix the power. The freezers never froze the Icey poles properly but we survived. We had a great time in the end. Once we had power it became a much more enjoyable holiday.

What an amazing place! We stayed with our kids at Jarrah Forrest Lodge for 3 nights and the only regret we had we could not stay longer. Kids loved table tennis & nature playground. Family Room was very spacious and clean. It's a great base for bike riding and bush walking. Last but not least, owner was very responsive and friendly, thank you!

Awesome place to take a break without driving for hours from Perth. The location is superb as a base to go mountain biking from. The pizza oven was fantastic but if you plan to make pizzas remember it does require preheating a number of hours before you plan to use it. The fire pit is great to sit around and radiates heat on a cold night. Most accommodation does not have cooking facilities we stayed in the forest lodge which had rudimentary facilities but the communal kitchen is well appointed. None of the rooms are en-suite all showers and toilets are shared this being the primary reason for me not giving five stars.

Follow the emus in Dwellingup to get to the Jarrah Forest Lodge!Winding roads, plenty of parking, gorgeous Forest setting with lots of separate rooms for family of group events. The scenery is magic, when we went there were autumn colours and light rain, but that just added to the charm.Clean rooms, polite and friendly service come as a great package.Bathrooms and toilets were clean and well provisioned, making life here nice and easy.Lots of things to do from near and far, with a very central location, close to walk trails and other attractions.Definately worth a visit

The lodge was pretty booked so having 11 showers but only 6 toilets can be tricky. There was a dog in common kitchen although it states no dogs allowed but only saw him briefly. The linen pack for 18 dollars would be ok if warn blankets were supplied automatically and not only after request. Also never saw insect repellent or beverages that supposing came with it. It is a lovely spot and kitchen is well supplied with anything you need. Family room 1 next to common room is noisy and during night not all sensor lights worked making bathroom visit an adventure. The lodge is ok but feels a little like a backpackers and therefore a little expensive in my opinion.Room for improvement but due to limited Dwellingup accommodation I would go back as I know what to expect now.

We spent the weekend here in a cadet room for a mountain biking weekend and it was great. The room was basic but that was reflected in the price, the bathrooms and showers were clean and modern. Stephanie was very helpful and friendly when I made my booking and provided some great local knowledge.Only negatives were the bathroom door closer causes it to slam, and there was a group of heavy drinkers that slammed that door every 20 minutes until 2 am. Although for the price, I couldn't expect an aircon in each room, but maybe a decent ceiling fan would be nice. Minor issues only, I would stay there again.

Great place for our group of ladies celebrating 60th Birthday. We stayed in a 4 bedroom cottage with 2 sitting rooms which was very comfortable and spacious. Accommodation clean, well stocked kitchen with crockery, etc. Large stove, 3 fridges and spacious dining room which we decorated for our Birthday dinner. Ideal for couples, families, groups. Beautiful forest for walks, biking. Great for kids too. Affordable, comfortable and will be back with my family. Just bring your food and drinks. Nestled in a beautiful part of Western Australia.
