Little Woodworkers is the BEST incursion! Jim came to our service last week and the children are still talking about it. They have asked when Jim will be back. It’s a phenomenal amount of fun. The children learnt so much. Don’t hesitate. Book them today!

We were thrilled to have Jim from Little Woodworkers come to our Kinder last week for our 4 year old group.Jim engaged the children with his humorous, calm, respectful and easy going manner. It was both educational filled with knowledge and learning about wood and sustainability practices as well as the practical hands on side to the incursion.The children LOVED making their toolbox and we saw much confidence grow in the children.Jim was very organised and everything was set up so well for the children to experience success and learning.We look forward to having Jim back each year....more if we could!!

Jim was amazing as he engaged the children in discussions about the importance of trees and their uses. He then guided the children step by step through demonstration how to build our woodwork model in simple age appropriate terms that the children understood clearly. It was all in all an amazing experience and we are glad to have heard of little woodworkers. 5 stars all around!

I had the pleasure of experiencing the Woodwork Incursion it was truly an unforgettable experience! The team's dedication to creating a fun and engaging environment for preschool and primary school children was evident from the moment we arrived.Not only did we get to learn about woodworking and make our own quality wooden toys, but we also got to learn about sustainability in a unique and memorable way. It was amazing to see how the team integrated important lessons about sustainability into the woodworking activities, making the experience both educational and entertaining.The team catered to a range of age groups, from 3-year-old groups all the way up to Grade 6 students. Would highly recommend Little Woodworkers Incursion. We had Jim attend our Early learning service and they went above and beyond to accomodate our needs. The incursion was hands on, educational and fun for our Kinder children.

Jim made our 3 year old son Jeremy’s day extra special today at his childcare centre with the interesting woodwork project :) he was so proud of his masterpiece when he got home

From start to finish working with Kerstin and Jim was an easy and positive experience. Kerstin replies promptly to questions and queries.Our kinder children (and teachers) enjoyed a fabulous morning with Jim learning about wood and making a tool box. They loved wearing the safety equipment and using the REAL tools.

We had Jim visit us at Lang Park ELC and Kindergarten recently. He had all of the children engaged and listening to his every word! They were in awe as he showed them different tools for woodworking, safety around tools, different kinds of wood and the animals that use trees as their natural habitat.The incursion was hands-on and each child had the opportunity to create their own wooden toy and then take it home!We will definitely book this incursion in again.

We were delighted to have the amazing woodworking kits. Children thoroughly enjoyed making and decorating their airplanes. Will book this incursion again :)

Jim and Kerstin offer an amazing incursion that is suitable for our 4 year old kindergarten children. We love the links to sustainability which we are very passionate about here at HTK. The children are so engaged with the incursion and Jim is so patient and helpful, he guides the children but they are active participants so gain many new skills from the incursion.
