I came to see Leah after seeing her amazing work on IG! I was so nervous to have anyone touch my hair after many disappointing visits to various hairdressers. Leah made me feel so comfortable straight away and talked me through each step of the process and built my confidence. Needless to say my hair turned out even better than I had hoped :). Would highly recommend Leah and her amazing work. You will not be disappointed!

I recently had my hair done at the Salon Edit after leaving it untouched for almost a year! Kayla worked absolute magic on my hair and created a beautiful fresh, clean blonde. I could not thank Kayla enough for being so attentive to the request I had for my hair - she absolutely nailed it. Can't wait to go back again! Such a lovely experience.

I had an exact idea in my mind of how I wanted my hair coloured and Leah perfected it! Not only is my hair still extremely healthy but the colour is exactly what I wanted. Leah took her time to explain the process to me and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Not only that but Leah also fixed a previous haircut I had that left me feeling upset about my hair. I had my hair done by Kate she sat down with me and we discussed what I was looking to do with my hair and she gave me options on what would look best and most natural like I wanted and it turned out to be a very beautiful soft natural brunette with low lights of blonde exactly what I was looking for, very happy with the service and this is now my new salon to go to, would highly recommend :)

I hadn’t been to the hairdressers in years, I was a busy mum, working and studying a university degree.The day before an important job interview I decided last minute that I needed to get my haircut, treated and styled as it wasn’t doing anything for me, it looked drab.Recently whilst walking past The salon edit in Mortdale I was taken back by the visually stunning, minimalist and modern decor of the salon and wanted to treat myself with a an experience whilst at my first hairdresser appointment in years. After reading the amazing reviews I took the chance and I couldn’t be happier that I did, I am still raving about my experience, my hair and the salon.The ambience is a must see, the welcoming and friendly staff made me feel comfortable, from the delicious herbal tea they had brewing served in beautiful ceramic cups, or coffee on offer, the fully reclining chairs at the washing station including the soothing head massage, lavender eye pillow, relaxation music and a scalp salt scrub felt like heaven.And then there was Kayla who guided me through the experience, so experienced with helping me to decide on a cut and style that would suit my face shape best and giving my hair the best treatment to revitalise it, simply wow, i was left with a modern, easy to care for hairstyle with hair looking and feeling like a million dollars.I finally have my go to hairdressing salon and it’s more than that, a holistic and nurturing experience which engages all your senses, that everyone should treat themselves to more regularly. I have received so many compliments on my lusciously healthy hair and that I am glowing.I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks to get my hair coloured by Kayla and be pampered by the lovely team.

I am obsessed with this Salon and the girls that work there! Kayla is helping me go from black hair to light brown! I’ve gone back and fourth with her for some time now and she has been absolutely patient with me. Leah is hilarious and down to earth! You will always have a good experience with those two around! Tash gives the best head massages and always offers me a beverage. Natasha at the front desk is absolutely lovely! Treat yourself to the ultimate hair salon experience!

I wanted to share my experience at The Salon Edit because the team went above and beyond to accomodate me even though it was super last minute appointment, i was originally there to do my makeup with an artist, after my original hairdresser at a different salon never showed up to the appointment earlier that morning, The Salon Edit fit me in on a super busy morning where they had their hands full but they still managed to style my hair, I couldn't be happier with the overall experience, the whole team was amazing, and my hair looked incredible, they really made me feel so much better after a very stressful week. I will definitely be coming back for future services!

First time coming to The Salon Edit and I was so so impressed by the professionalism and quality of the services they provide. Leah was so understanding, caring and thorough during our consultation and her knowledge is second to none. She made me feel so comfortable especially after having bad experiences with my hair elsewhere, I couldn't thank her enough. And thank you Natasha for the most relaxing wash ever!!
