Ordered 4 items for takeaway on a busy Sunday night. When I got there when the app said my order was ready I had to wait ages until I was even acknowledged by staff, and then a further 20 minutes until they figured out my order got lost amongst everything going on. Then I was told that most of everything I ordered had to be substituted because they ran out. It took another 30 minutes for this which seemed like a rushed attempt not at all like what I expected from other reviews…Unfortunately the person we ordered for wanted exactly what had been substituted so overall not a good experience

We had a pleasant evening here on a quiet Tues night and everything ran smoothly. We booked through The Fork, to take advantage of the 30% discount on food. But generally, apart from the discount, I would say that bookings aren’t necessary, as there are plenty of tables available both inside and outside. It being a balmy late summer eve, we chose to sit outdoors, which worked well for us. There were only a handful of other diners, some sitting inside, others sitting outside, and I found the ambience to be cool, casual and laid back. It was pleasant and relaxing to be sitting outdoors on a warm night. Park Rd is a fairly busy little restaurant precinct with numerous eateries on both sides of the road, so it has a lively and energetic vibe.DECOR: The decor at Cedars is stylish and elegant with classic wooden furniture, comfortable upholstered chairs, dark timber panels and good lighting throughout the venue.SERVICE: There were a bunch of Lebanese guys working here, and there were all super friendly, polite and helpful. Service was a pleasure. Our order was quickly taken and drinks and food came out at a steady clip and in the correct order.FOOD: Being just my wife and I, we stuck to a fairly simple ordering protocol. A corona for me and a glass of prosecco for my wife, followed by a fattoush salad for a starter ($15), two main meals and a shared dessert. The fattoush salad was beautifully prepared with lashings of lettuce, tomato and cucumber, smothered in a tangy lemon sauce and topped off with crispy croutons. A great way to start the meal. For my main course, I chose the Chicken Moussakhan ($28), which was an interesting dish with four portions of soft pita bread filled with succulent grilled chicken, onions, mixed nuts and served with yellow rice and a bowl of garlic and pomegranate sauce. My wife went for the chargrilled lamb skewers with spicy bread, rice and salad ($25). The meat was melt-in-your mouth tender and perfectly complemented by the fluffy yellow rice, roasted tomato, chilis and fresh salad. We both enjoyed our meals. To finish, what else, but our fav baklava ($10). Four pieces of pastry in a bird's nest configuration with mixed nuts in the middle and soaked in a sweet syrupy sauce. Perfect way to end the meal.TOILETS: There are clean and well provisioned toilets, inside the restaurant, with ample male and female cubicles.PARKING: Parking was a breeze in nearby Douglas Street, a short walk from the restaurants, but there are plenty of spaces in any of the nearby side streets, with no after hours or weekend restrictions.COST: After our 30% discount with our Fork booking, we paid $69 for the two drinks, a salad, two main meals and a shared dessert. That was decent value for money, given all the positives i.e. a super nice and comfy ambience, fast, friendly and efficient service and first rate food served in generous portions. Add to that clean and well stocked toilets and easy parking and you have all the ingredients for a relaxed and pleasant night out with fam or friends.I’m sure that we’ll be back soon.

Food was ok, some of the toppings tasted like it was out of a packet or bottle. I don't read other reviews before I try a new place.

First time dining at Cedar and trying Lebanese food. The food was delicious and the serving size's were pretty good. The food didn't take long to be served to the table. Cedar also has shisha services available with a decent menu.2 star for the staff service. The staff didn't know what alcohol they hold. I asked one lady what kind of rum they have- she went to check and didn't come back. 15 minutes of waiting I asked another person who also didn't know what alcohol they have- he bought a bottle to my table to show me the option. Trying to get one drink took almost half an hour.Communication between staff is bad. I faced 3 different people to get 1 drink.

Our newest favourite place to dine for Middle Eastern cuisine. Generous portions with a variety of meats full of spices and flavours. We will be returning again xo

Waited over an hour for food that was well and truly below average. Ordered drinks which were forgotten about. Other diners that arrived after us finished eating before we even started. The hot drinks were only half full and the rest was frothed milk. Maybe our expectations were just as high as the price. I think we’ll stick to Byblos in future.

Last minute choice to have dinner here.I’m a very harsh critic due to my background. The food was 100% authentic. Very delicious.Dessert however was incorrectly labeled and I did bring this to the mangers attention as it wasn’t what I wanted but I did pay and eat it as it was delicious. Will definitely be back with my family again

Good place for Middle Eastern food in Brisbane. They have good shisha. I tried Kiwi Mint flavor and it was good. Gets quite busy during the weekend.
