Let's feed the dog treats & drug them while saying 'look'. Can't take them back to the place where aggression occurred. The whole point was to be able to return to the beach & dog park where the dog had been all his life. Absolute waste of $500! Nothing positive about this training!Definite

The trainers are the rudest people I have ever come across definitely need to do a course in public relations. I wouldn't trust my dogs with them.

The ladies here are all very experienced in dog/animal behaviours and know what they’re talking about. They helped me understand both my dogs behaviours and root of their issues. I’ve got a super anxious cavoodle who was the runt of the litter, hand fed by breeder as his mom was short on breastmilk. It was understandable that he was more cuddly in nature and easily more anxious. When our new puppy a labradoodle came to join the family, it was not a surprise my Cavoodle started having resource guarding issues. Sharon and Asha gave us lots of tips during our weekly sessions as well as personalised advise/tips in our private one on one session. Our pups are getting along a lot better now and we knew what environment to provide them both with to avoid conflicts. My Cavoodle has successfully graduated from Level 1 & 2 Basic Dog Manners and my labradoodle has just recently completed Level 1 Basic Dog Manners. Highly recommend for new fur parents who would like to understand the psychology behind positive dog training.

My 6 month old puppy has just graduated from Level 1 Basic Dog Manners at Unley. The sessions were well staffed and the trainers were very professional. The positive method was far preferable to my experience at other dog schools in the past. The group was also small, and there was plenty of opportunity to ask individual questions. The treats and equipment for sale each week was also very handy and reasonably priced. I'm looking forward to booking into the next level. Thank you Sharon & Team!

Afraid to say, it’s a lot of money for a lot of nothing. The ‘dog trainer’ was condescending and bordering on patronising, while too precious and pedantic with the young dogs and the place was unhygienic. 7:30 for classes is too late for us and our pup was overtired, but labelled as “highly strung” and poorly behaved when she wanted to play with the other pups in the pen next to her instead of doing the tasks. This school was indoors for “cleaner environment”, but the place smelled worse than a sewage farm with the stench of urine burning our nostrils, you could barely breathe when you entered. The puppies and their owners are boxed in separately like caged chickens for most part (not social at all). Except for a very controlled puppy play time in a tiny space at the end of class with 2 or 3 pups at a time while the rest sit out and watch them. There were deep holes the size of tennis balls in the floors that pups could easily break a leg in. First session, no puppies were allowed to attend as it was theory only (waffle you could get via an email, but (never got that email to say no dog to dog school and felt foolish on first class bringing puppy to puppy school)!Wanted to cancel after first session, but was not allowed a refund. Not a place I would take your new pup. Much better to socialise and train with other experienced dog owners in puppy play parks or check with your local council and not pay a fortune for a misleadingly negative experience. I regret committing to it.Please search around for better places than this one!

Absolutely fantastic training company. Their trainers are knowledgeable and helpful and always have an idea or two about how to help train even some of the more difficult breeds. Their training is all about positive reinforcement and rewarding desirable behaviours rather getting angry or using negative reinforcement.Definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a brilliant trainer.

My son and I learnt heaps from the girls from Positive Dog Training. Asha who was our lead instructor had a huge knowledge about dog training and gave us lots of useful advice and tips. Asha, Eleanor and Tilly were all lovely girls and we had lots of fun.

We have just finished Level 1 Basic Training with our 6 month old puppy. We upgraded the course to include a one on one session.I would definitely recommend Positive Dog Training, everyone in Ashas team was so professional and we have learnt so many training techniques that have all been successful. They tailor techniques if a particular one isn't working and the one on one session was definitely worth it.We have now booked Level 2 and can not wait to continue our training as we find it truly enjoyable.

Great customer service , but unfortunately the products were a disappointment..I purchased the Freedom 2hounds no pull harness and Euro leads, unfortunately the dogs are still pulling and the Euro leads are cumbersome to use...leads get all tangled up..I have 2 dogs and just doesn't work with 2 dogs..this harness is a training tool and not an everyday harness for walks, also the buckles on underside of harness caused chaffing sores on the dogs.My fault for not doing the research and not realizing not for everyday use.ads..unfortunately they ha

7 years ago my shepherd went to puppy training with Sharron. First assessment we were told she had massive issues that would be too difficult to correct without medication. She was 16 weeks old. We were also told that as she would be unsafe around all other animals, that we should seriously consider euthanasia. My girl now lives with 5 cats, 2 Guinea pigs, a doggy brother, 4 chickens and a goat. Medication free.
