My husband has dementia and had not arrived at an appointment he had. I phoned Glenelg Police station. They were very helpful and referred the matter to the Netley Station. The two officers who visited my home were very kind, courteous and understanding of our situation. Fortunately we had a good outcome. My husband was found by the officers and is home safe and well. Thank you so much. I really appreciate your assistance and kindness.

Great staff there at Glenelg.....very freindly and helpfull.....have a genuine concern for your problems. Spoke to a police officer there and he was very understanding about my situation and was a great help. His advice was spot on.......we are very lucky to have them here at Glenelg.

Really rude and unhelpful staff who can't even be bothered standing up and coming to the counter when you need to know if they can do something for you. I wanted an Advance Care Directive witnessed and they said they don't do that sort of thing. Told me to get a justice of the peace (I thought they had one there) then told me it was incorrect when I said I couldn't find one on a Saturday or Sunday as they work very limited hours. They made no attempt to help me. So much for valuing older people in the Community.

The single most useless people I've ever had to deal with. All I needed was a signature from a police officer and their response was we don't have time to give a signature

Rude and unhelpful! My wife was applying for a SAPOL position and needed a document witnessed by a SAPOL employee. The lady didn't want to listen and kept saying go to a JP, in a rude and condescending tone as if we didn't know what we were doing. We left, called SAPOL headquarters and they confirmed it had to be a SAPOL employee. We went back in and she said there is no officer here at the moment, which we saw him sitting at the restaurant next door. How can it be that there is no SAPOL employer at the police station??!!!
