Stay at Tilba
We stayed in the Postmasters room overnight on our way to Melbourne. Wonderful customer service. Lovely old fashioned rooms in an old post office. Comfy bed, large enough room. The private bathroom is very very small. If you have long legs you won’t be able to close the bathroom door whilst on the toilet. Other facilities are shared and you can hear the people in the upstairs room. Check out the General Store next door and the historic street of Tilba.

Excellent B&B set in an old post office and postmaster's residence. Old-world feel but in a comfortable style. Check in and then check out Tilba's charming cafés, gift shops, pub, and the cheese factory.

Generosity of the most extraordinary kind can only describe Claire. Our accommodation with delicious treats was just a minor example of Clare’s generosity. Arriving at midday in Sydney , having left before dawn, we discovered that we had inadvertently left two pieces of luggage on the footpath. A telephone call to Claire, confirmed that they were still there. Thanks to Claire and the good people of Tilba, the luggage arrived at our home a few days later. Tilba Tilba and The Guesthouse’s authenticity is a rarity these days.
