Palm Lake Resort Bargara
We come here 2 to 3 times a year to visit my brother-in-law & his wife. Always love coming. A very beautiful place with great facilities & very friendly residents. They really make us feel like part of their community. They have included me on their Australi Day bowls competition & I don't play bowls. Great place & great people.

Palm Lake Resort Bargara
Secure place. Nice easy going people. Within walking distance of beach and a short drive to other beaches and surf. Grocery shops Doctors etc close by. There are emergency switches in all the villas. Pools, bowls, line dancing, craft, club house. Great meals on specific nights. Lots more to do.

Palm Lake Resort Bargara
Palm lakes is lovely but before you invest please consider these things: mobile phone connectivity especially in villas, your closest shop eg chemist/shops say you couldn’t drive and how far to a hospital. My mother lost her partner can not drive her, villa has little to poor phone service (which is a common issue) and there is not a shop in sight! Taxis cost a fortune. It’s a lovely place don’t get me wrong but poorly located very poorly located!! To me compared to other retirement places this rates extremely low!!!

We have a lot of fun,still building villas,so you can buy in if you are quick, Over 50's where you buy your home and pay a monthly fee for all the amenities. No Entry or Exit Fees. You can sell your Villa anytime for whatever you want and receive it all.

The only downside is the Villas are way too close to each other.Noisy neighbors. No privacy.Can hear every conversation especially when phone is on loudspeaker. So inconsiderate.Everything else is amazing.

Palm Lake Resort Bargara
This is an excellent retirement complex, offering lawn bowls, a swimming pool, library, and a craft room. There are regular activity nights and friendly management. The complex is well looked after by a full time grounds person. The villas are modern and contemporary, there are a number of different floor plans with ensuites to the main bedroom in most of the villas with an activity room or extra bedroom.

It looks like a very nice place to live but very expensive and the resort internet and TV etc. is sewn up into an inflexible package that is very frustrating
