Camooweal is the last outpost heading west before entering the NT. Is recent times we have overnighted there caravanning plus cabins. Caravanning has become expensive as is pub food and alcohol.

The staff were lovely and friendly.We stayed for one night on our way to Darwin - powered site.The amenities were clean and the pub food good.The pool had a few insects but that is the nature of the area - it otherwise looked well maintained.

Pulled in here on our way home to stay a nightThe Young English bloke behind the bar was helpful and friendlyAnd the woman serving in the restaurant was a deadset legend when taking our order than changing our order cause I stuffed up the wife's meal. Highly recommended

Stayed on the unpowered site for one night during our trip from Cairns to Alice Springs. There was an absolute nightmare amount of insects the second it got dark. The amenities and the pool were full of water bugs. Good spot for a night, but not more. Also beautiful sunset.

Good place to stop and stay overnight. The kitchen is not open on Sundays. Rooms are neat tidy and clean. Grounds clean, tidy and we'll maintained.

We were stuck in Cammo for a week due to the floods. A more welcoming, friendly group of people you would be hard to find. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and funny. The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds are comfortable. Made a stressful time much more bearable.
