The Founders Room

My Company, Sincerity Funerals, have been delighted with The Founders Room as a venue to celebrate one's life and we have a great working relationship with Tony, Simon and the staff. It is large enough to accommodate 150 seated, as per my companies funeral with them on Monday, but also allows some standing room for others should more turn up than was expected. This is a variant conception to traditional funeral thinking involving attending a cemetery or crematorium. In this modern way, with natures beautiful backdrop, the tributes are said, the slideshow presentation and music is played and then everyone stays behind for refreshments and food at the conclusion of the service.Below is a photo of the entree with much more food to come. Black is no longer required at funerals and often we now celebrate a life we shared with honour rather than just mourn a loss.

I wouldn’t waste my time in this place , service is not up to scratch and food is stale … not worth the money… we have eaten there before, today we were discriminated against due to medical apartheid reasons, due to our personal choice!! Yes I wouldn’t come back for sure. And we were not rude at all. All we said is that is ok, we will go and spend our money elsewhere, and we did and we had an amazing experience….

Amazing events team, Saeran and Tony are amazing to deal with and wonderful communication through the whole planning process of our wedding.Fantastic staff on the night made sure everyone was looked after. Highly recommended for any event.

Really disappointing visit unfortunately. Photos online are absolutely stunning and the menu looked amazing so we booked a table for a friends baby shower. We turned up to absolute chaos. The room was WAY overbooked, overcrowded and very under staffed. You had to wait in line for a drink for a minimum of 30 minutes and the bar staff were really rude and made you feel like ordering drinks was an inconvenience to them. We couldn't even order cocktails and were told to line up and try again if we wanted one because they were too busy. After waiting over an hour for our food, the experience didn't get any better. Tasteless, small servings and the pizzas are tiny. Not a venue I would recommend or be visiting again.

Amazing food and amazing staff. Especially great to see management looking after their customers and staff by sticking to their vaccination policy with cases absolutely through the roof at the moment. Certainly made me feel more confident entering the club!

We had our wedding at the Founders Room which included catering and it was all wonderful. Saeran was fantastic with helping us plan our perfect wedding and some helpful tips with narrowing down menu options and floor plan choices (we are a couple who are very poor event planners). Tony helped make the running of the day go smoothly, and unobtrusively kept us updated on various things during the night and with different timings and scheduling. It was all stress free and breezy and the food was fantastic. We had a cocktail style reception and had been a bit hesitant about whether or not it would be enough food but it was honestly great and everyone loved it. The roving style also gave us and our guests the opportunity to move around the room and mingle so I'm really glad we went with that option.Many thanks to Saeran, Tony and the staff for everything, would definitely recommend for any function or event.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at this stunning venue.It was perfect!They were so easy and earthy to work with which made our life a lot less stressful.The venue was just set up beautifully, the food was outstanding and the service was flawless.The management of this venue along with its gorgeous location and incredible food, really made our wedding day the best day of our lives.

5 ++++ We had our wedding down here in January. Saeran & Tony are so lovely to deal with, so down to earth and reliable and bring a sense of calm on such a big day. Not to mention they really know how to throw an amazing wedding together - we had a cocktail style wedding and the food was AMAZING. All of the guests have not stopped raving about how delicious it was and how much there was coming around! Everything about this venue is perfect, the view, the way they have furnished the venue, food, management. Couldn't recommended high enough!

Our Wedding was held at the Founders Room and from the very start it was a no fuss process. Saeran was brilliant to work with and very professional, total relaxed and put your mind at ease with any questions you had. All of our guests had a lovely time and enjoyed the menu selection which catered for our dietary requirements. Tony front of house kept everything rolling but was flexible with any adjustments we made. A big Thankyou to the team and we highly recommend this venue for future functions.

We received nothing but compliments and praise from our guests regarding the staff, food and venue for our wedding. Tony and Saeran were amazing in the lead up to our wedding. Their support during 2 postponements and changing covid restrictions was reassuring, easing the stress and pressures we were feeling throughout this time. We would recommend the founders room to any other couples looking for a venue for both a ceremony and reception!
